
Another rare concert event elevated by ATIMESHOWBIZ, one of Thailand's leading concert organizers, was held with full excellence and truly worth the wait this year. "DISCTOPIA CONCERT" is a phenomenon bringing together mega-hit artists from the disk era, aiming to delight 2000s youth. This event reunited famous disk-era artists to relive cherished memories, causing tickets to sell out from the first day of sales. The show featured a full lineup of nine artists: BANK PREETI, DA ENDORPHINE, ETC., FLURE, LIPTA, SCRUBB, SLOT MACHINE, TATTOO COLOUR, and ZEAL. They invited everyone to board a "Time Machine" to revisit unforgettable moments, delivering nonstop stage performances for over nine hours straight on Saturday, 9 May, at BITEC LIVE!
The stage opened with LIPTA, a popular band known for their evergreen hits. “Tan and Katto” delighted fans by performing songs from 18 years ago including "Just Knowing It's Love," "How to Say No," "Stupid Question," and "Dream," energizing disk-era music lovers to sing along from the start. Next was SCRUBB, the owner of a treasured collection of love songs, inviting the audience to immerse themselves in warm, heartfelt tracks like "Everything," "Together," "You Spin Around Me," and "Close." Then came ETC., delivering their signature solid performance with familiar tunes such as "Change," "Sleeping Prince," "Angel," and "Living Being," adding a special touch by singing close to the audience.
It was time to raise the energy with the only female artist on stage, DA ENDORPHINE, a powerful diva known for countless hits. She gave a full display of vocal strength and captivating entertainment, truly beyond words. She evoked nostalgia with songs spanning cassette to disk eras like "Full Glass," "Best Friend," "Illusion," and "No Need to Know Our Relationship." ETC.’s lead singer surprised the crowd by joining her on stage, sparking loud cheers. The show then shifted to the powerful rock band FLURE, whose consistent musical craftsmanship shone through every note. They performed "Change," "Between Us," "Together," and "Lonely Season," encouraging fans to sing heartily. Finally, the awaited BANK PREETI opened his set with "Fire of Love," igniting the atmosphere. The crowd enthusiastically sang along to every song, including "Chronic Disease," "May I Wipe Your Tears," and "Accept Everything."
Fully satisfying disk-era youth with sing-along hits nearly throughout the concert, it was time for the rock band ZEAL to perform legendary songs like "Two Loves," delighting fans. A big surprise came with the beautiful Buachompoo Ford joining as a special guest to perform the original version of "End of Life (I Give You)" for the first time in 18 years, causing the audience to scream excitedly. Next was internationally acclaimed rock band SLOT MACHINE, getting the crowd wildly engaged with hits like "Birth," "Wait," "Pass," and "Moon," with fans raising their hands in unison at the intro. Closing the night was the versatile band TATTOO COLOUR, delivering an energetic set including "Love at First Sight," "Pork Knuckle," "Cinderella," and "Lies," wrapping up the play disk full of musical charm and fond memories of youth.
