Slapkiss Reinforces Deep Heartache with New Song “No Place to Stand” About Unclear Relationship Status

Returning once again with a new single that cuts deeply and truthfully for those who have "stood beside someone but were never truly in their heart," ultimately having no place in the relationship. This latest work from Slapkiss sharply portrays the status of the “number two” person who stays close, listens to every story, and acts as a safe space when the other is vulnerable, yet in the end is never chosen as the important one.

This song conveys the feelings of someone who "makes them feel good" but never "makes them feel loved," becoming a direct and piercing representation for many facing relationships without clear status, or what is called #NoPlaceToStand.

For this project, MILO from Tilly Birds took the helm as producer, shaping the music to be cool, deep, and complete in every dimension, combined with Do Thanakorn’s skillful lyric and melody writing that clearly maintains the band’s distinctive style of raw, heartfelt storytelling.

Another key highlight is the music video featuring AA from the band BUS, who portrays the role of “someone with no place to stand” through detailed and profound acting, amplifying the song’s emotions and helping viewers deeply connect with every moment of this unbalanced relationship.

“No Place to Stand” is not just a sad song, but the reality of many relationships people are facing, and it may become a track you play repeatedly on days when you must accept that… you were never the one they chose.
