The colorful music designers La Ong Fong, consisting of On - Korakamon Chaiwatmathee (lead vocals), Ae - Pongjak Pitsatanporn (bass), and Man - Tanupop Notayanon (guitar) from Spicy Disc label, return with their latest warm song for the rainy season, "Dangerous but Not Life-Threatening." It tells the story of a person once hurt by love but who must move on. Even alone, it’s not life-threatening—just another day where the heart works a little harder. The hope is that one day the heart will be whole again. This single expresses the perspective of single people who are not sad, through comfortable acoustic pop music with La Ong Fong’s signature style. The song is another quality work written and composed by Phongbeer - Patiwet Uthaichaloem and Palm (Andapan Chaikaew), who helped arrange the music while maintaining La Ong Fong’s distinctive DNA that fans have been waiting for. La Ong Fong said, "This song actually started from a simple question among us: if La Ong Fong were to tell a story about ‘heartache’ without dwelling too much on sadness, what would it sound like? Eventually, we got a concept from Phongbeer, who wrote this song. It talks about love ending, being left behind, or days when the heart is very broken. But looking back, we realize it’s not life-threatening; it’s just that the heart has to work a bit harder during this time. We really like this feeling, so we defined it as a 'sorrowful but not sad' song. Musically, we wanted this song to clearly carry La Ong Fong’s vibe, so we recorded it entirely with live session instruments and alternating vocals by Ae and On, which is part of the band’s DNA and might remind many of the song ‘Secret Crush.’ The music video launches with the concept of the rainy season, which is part of our three-season project. We compare life to changing weather—storms come and go, and the sky after the rain is always better. This song wants to tell everyone that no matter how tired your heart feels today, it will pass, and it’s definitely not life-threatening.
