SOT MUSIC AWARDS 2026 (Sound of Thailand Music Awards 2026) is the country's first national-level music awards event organized by the Thai Entertainment Content Trade Association (TECA), supported by the Department of Cultural Promotion, Ministry of Culture. The awards aim to promote and elevate the Thai music industry by establishing a new standard of transparency, credibility, and genuine reflection of the music industry's voice. A rigorous voting system has been designed to include voters from all sectors of the industry, including artists, behind-the-scenes music professionals, record label personnel, academic institutions, and the media, to collaboratively select artists and songs that promote quality development and raise the overall industry standards to national recognition.
Recently, a press conference was held to announce the nominees for 16 award categories at LIDO CONNECT HALL 3. Leading the event were executives including Khun Pongsarin Ulis, CAT RADIO executive; Khun Wip Boorapadecha, Happening executive; Khun Anan Luepradit, THE PEOPLE executive; and Khun Sukrit Suksakulwat, president of the Thai Entertainment Content Trade Association (TECA), who collectively developed the Sound of Thailand Music Awards project, officially named SOT MUSIC AWARDS.
The event was honored by the presence of executives and personnel from the country's leading record labels such as LOVEiS ENTERTAINMENT, Muzik Move, Rats Records, Smallroom, Sony Music Thailand, SpicyDisc, Tero Music, Universal Music Thailand, What The Duck, and YUPP!, along with artists from diverse music genres including Coconut Sunday, Compass., DOOR PLANT, Fuzz, Jetset'er, JING Suppanat, Juicy Tomatoes, KRYPTONYTE, LAMOON, PANPAN YEEYEE, Playground, Sound Sleep, The Publish, The Young Wolf, WALLRY, Tuy Theerapat, and Laongfong, as well as many other music industry figures who gathered to witness this significant milestone for Thailand's music industry.
Additionally, nominated artists including Max Jenmana, murrph., PAMI, Tobii, and TOFU attended the event to celebrate and be part of the 2026 nominee announcement. The full list of SOT MUSIC AWARDS 2026 nominees across 16 categories is as follows:

The SOT MUSIC AWARDS 2026 ceremony will be held on Wednesday, 24 June 2026, at ONE BANGKOK FORUM, ONE BANGKOK.
In addition to the award ceremony on that day, SOT MUSIC AWARDS 2026 will host ongoing activities under the SOT MUSIC AWARDS WEEK project from 17 to 23 June 2026. This aims to provide a platform for artists, music industry personnel, record labels, entrepreneurs, and music fans to meet, exchange experiences, and build networks through various activities including:
1. SOT Music Showcase
Live performances by diverse Thai artists across four venues—Mr. FOX Live House, VOLUME LIVEHOUSE, LIDO Connect, and Folk Phranakorn—from 17 to 22 June 2026, offering close musical experiences.
2. B2B & Networking
A space for songwriters, artists, record labels, festival organizers, and representatives from both domestic and international music industries to network, seek new collaborations, exchange knowledge, and update global music industry trends from 22 to 23 June 2026.
3. SOT MUSIC AWARDS Installation
An exhibition allowing the public to experience the concept and identity of the SOT MUSIC AWARDS through creative displays at the plaza in front of LIDO Connect from 20 to 22 June 2026, and on 24 June 2026 at ONE BANGKOK FORUM.
Follow and support the artists and music industry professionals who jointly create the first-ever music awards "by musicians, for musicians, and of musicians" in Thailand at the SOT MUSIC AWARDS 2026 ceremony on 24 June 2026 at ONE BANGKOK FORUM.
