The NEXZ GLOBAL SHOWCASE EVENT in BANGKOK on Saturday, 4 July at Chaengwattana Hall, organized by quality producers BNJ Entertainment and FriedRice Entertainment, became a memorable night for all. It marked the official first meeting between the seven members of NEXZ—Tomoya, Yu, Haru, So Geon, Seita, Hyui, and Yuki—and their Thai fans. This new generation boy group stands out with strong performance skills, distinctive vocals, and a vibrant charm that has won everyone's hearts. The entire event was filled with smiles and warm encouragement from the fans to the members.
The cheers of Thailand’s NEX2Y fans roared from the very first moment when the seven NEXZ members opened the stage with the hit title track "Mmchk" from their second single album, earning them the new nickname "Performance Charmers" from their Thai fans. They then kept the energy high with songs like "O-RLY?", "I'm Him", "NALLINA", and "Simmer", sharing stories about promoting "Mmchk" and candidly discussing behind-the-scenes experiences and their feelings towards the fans.
The event featured a packed setlist including "HYPEMAN", "Ride The Vibe", "Run With Me", "Next Zeneration", and "Beat-Boxer." Members Tomoya and Yuki took part in writing the lyrics for "HYPEMAN," explaining that the song is not just fun on stage but also intended to send encouragement and positive energy to all NEX2Y fans, so every time they listen or watch the performance, they feel empowered and confident. Another touching moment was during "Ride The Vibe," where members shared that although initially indifferent to the song, the verse two reminded them of their debut days, the excitement, determination, and dreams remaining vivid, making every performance special and meaningful. Additionally, during "Run With Me," all seven members came down from the stage to greet fans closely and surprised everyone by performing a Thai dance cover of "ถูกสเปก (Let’s Go)" by HONGSHI from LYKN, eliciting loud cheers from the Thai audience.
At the event’s close, NEXZ expressed gratitude to fans in Thai, saying, "We are very happy to meet all the Thai NEX2Y. We will hurry back to see you as soon as possible... Love NEX2Y the most." They emphasized that the bond between NEXZ and NEX2Y is a shining, growing, and strong connection. This stage allowed them to get closer to fans, and as long as NEX2Y is happy, NEXZ will be happy too.
The memorable night ended with performances of "Keep on Moving", "Hellmate", and "Hands up, Yo!", accompanied by thunderous cheers filling the hall.
