For nearly 10 years, fans have grown alongside JAONAAY. Today, he is ready to open a new chapter in his music journey by releasing his first EP "amor," surrounded by an atmosphere full of smiles, warmth, and special memories. The "JAONAAY's First EP 'amor' Listening Session," the launch event of JAONAAY's (Jinjet Wattanasin) first EP from Sony Music Thailand, was held on 16 July 2026 at The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon. Lucky fans selected to attend this exclusive event enjoyed a close experience with all five tracks from the "amor" EP, including a first listen to two new songs.
At the event, JAONAAY shared behind-the-scenes insights about creating this EP and performed all five songs from "amor": the viral hit single "ติดเธอซะก่อน (Sweet Baby)," "ทุกนาที (THEM JEANS)" featuring SEXSKI, "อกหัก (Misery)," and the two new tracks "Trippin" and "Do You Remember?" featuring Patrickananda. Fans warmly received the performances throughout the event.
The EP "amor" tells stories of love across various moments—from falling in love, misunderstandings, to accepting farewells—feelings many have experienced in life. The EP was produced by Kant Yented.
JAONAAY revealed that the EP title "amor" comes from the Spanish word for "love." For him, the meaning extends beyond love between two people to encompass love for everything around him—doing what he loves, his work, the people he loves, including his fans and everyone who has joined him on this journey.
“The EP amor reflects my growth both as an artist and as a person, especially around age 25, a key turning point where I learned to understand myself better. I wanted to share these experiences through this EP for fans to listen to,” he said.
A special aspect of the EP "amor" is its main concept of the "film set," representing the place that shaped JAONAAY from childhood. With parents working in the entertainment industry, he grew up surrounded by film sets and lights, living on set for as long as he can remember. Supported and cared for by senior crew members throughout his growth, JAONAAY chose the film set image to portray another side of his life’s journey—the starting point of his love for music and working in entertainment. Ultimately, whether music, people, or moments that shaped him, they all began with "love," the core theme of the "amor" EP.
The EP also reflects JAONAAY’s growth as an artist through his involvement in every stage of creation, from writing lyrics, developing melodies, to directing the musical style, expressing his own perspective on love through the R&B genre he is passionate about.
JAONAAY added that his hope for this EP is to see listeners enjoy every song and be able to sing along at shows, as that is one of the greatest joys for him in making music.
Before concluding the talk, JAONAAY gave fans an in-depth look at the two new songs from "amor." "Trippin" is a Modern Lo-fi R&B track that clearly reflects JAONAAY’s musical identity. The song began with a melody he composed, then OZEEOOS, a skilled rapper-songwriter, wrote the lyrics. The song expresses the feelings of falling for someone and repeatedly thinking about them, secretly hoping those feelings will one day come true.
Following that is “Do You Remember? Ft. Patrickananda,” a pop song with R&B influences, marking JAONAAY’s first collaboration with Patrickananda. It tells a story of love’s beautiful and fragile moments, encouraging listeners to cherish the good times shared rather than judge a relationship by its worst moments. It acknowledges that love has both beautiful and imperfect sides, all part of growing up. JAONAAY surprised fans by inviting Patrickananda to perform “Do You Remember?” live for the first time, creating a memorable moment and encouraging fans to watch the music video on YouTube: Official.jaonaay.
