Paragon Hall was packed to capacity as “Nuvo” made their big comeback concert in 7 years, bringing songs that evoke memories of the 90s. Legendary guests “Sek Loso,” “Pong Hin Lek Fai,” and “Sao Sao Sao” joined to create historic scenes on stage.
The event concluded magnificently, fitting for Thailand’s legendary boy band, with the full-scale concert “CIMBweBOND Presents NUVORIGINAL CONCERT,” organized by leading Thai promoter CI Showbiz at Paragon Hall, 5th floor, Siam Paragon shopping center. Fans of 90s music packed the hall to relive the charm, happiness, and original essence of songs performed by all six original band members.
The event warmed up from 3 PM with a set by DJ Dow Morakot Komonbut, followed on the second day by Pong Kapol Thongplap, Nuvo’s seventh member. Then at 4 PM, all six original members appeared on stage, eliciting screams as they performed a continuous set including “Kukkak Boi Loei,” “Phuean Kap Pho,” “Kawi Bot Kao,” “Niyam Rak,” and “Song Khon Nai Rang Diao.” The excitement rose as first guest Pong Hin Lek Fai joined to sing “Long Kl,” alternating with a delightful performance by the legendary girl group Sao Sao Sao with “Pratu Jai.” Hosts Pom Pam and A Toi also appeared to entertain with comedy on stage.
This concert’s special feature, beyond the familiar hits, was Nuvo’s choice to perform rare songs seldom heard live, such as “Ploi Pai Tam Lom Loei,” “Mai Mee Kam Tob,” “Kiao,” and “Boon Khun Pu Dam,” giving true fans a full experience. The biggest highlight was when each member sang another’s hit songs, especially when Kong Saharat performed “Kor Koey Sunya.” After the solo section, national rock star Sek Loso unexpectedly walked on stage, sparking screams throughout the hall. Sek then joined Nuvo to perform “Jai Sang Ma” and “Chan Rue Thoe Tee Plian Pai,” creating a historic collaboration rarely seen before.
Toward the end of the show, Nuvo shifted to a heartfelt mood with a VTR tracing the “Music World” era, performing tear-jerking love songs such as “Mai Pen Rai Loei,” “Luek Sud Jai,” “Ngoo Ngom Ngai,” and “Mod Kam Tan.” During the hook of “Luek Sud Jai,” the entire hall lit up with phone flashlights, turning the evening into a warm sparkling sea of stars. There was also a charming moment when Kong took a water break with Ensure on stage, drawing laughter. The concert closed with a nostalgic Disco Duck medley, featuring all guests — Sek Loso, Pong Hin Lek Fai, and Sao Sao Sao — dancing and singing hits like “Nang Maew,” “Rak Khue Fun Pai,” and “Khun Thoe,” before exploding into a vibrant performance of “Sud Sud Pai Loei,” shaking Paragon Hall.
After the lights went out, continuous shouts of “NUVO! NUVO!” called the band back for an encore. They ended the night with “Kep Wai Hai Thoe” and “Lup Ta To,” closing their comeback in grand style after more than 4 hours, reaffirming their status as a true legendary band still beloved by fans.
