After Dome Pakorn Lam, James Ruangsak, Jonny Anwar, and Woy Kriangkrai went their separate ways to grow individually, occasionally meeting through old label concerts—except Woy, who stepped away from the industry—due to strong fan demand, the four are now ready in 2026 to release new work again under the name “M4” (Em Four) with two debut singles showcasing different styles: “Adrenaline” and “Like U.”
“Adrenaline” comes from Jonny’s feelings about life feeling repetitive and monotonous, doing the same activities in a loop. He questioned why, if we only live once, do we let each day pass without meaning? Why not live life to the fullest? Jonny also wanted a song that would encourage interaction between the band and audience during concerts, with call-and-response vocals and moments for fans to raise their hands and sing along, fostering greater communication than before. He created a rough demo for the band, and James developed the lyrics to complete the song. When everyone in M4 heard it, they unanimously felt, “This is the right song.” Not just because of its catchy or powerful melody, but because they all sensed the song sparked a fire within both the band and listeners, motivating the four to reunite seriously once again!
The other simultaneously released song, “Like U,” originated from playful banter between the band and audience. During a past concert tour, while preparing backstage and wondering what to do with the crowd, James thought of Woy’s character and came up with the line, “Asking fans which vowel (A, E, I, O, U) they like, I don’t know, but I like U.” This joke always brought smiles from fans. Inspired by the positive reaction, the four developed this into the song “Like U,” with James writing the lyrics and melody. The song features a Brit-rock style.
