‘D Gerrard’ Releases New MV with Extreme Craziness in “Full Moon”

He is another young artist full of extreme creativity, D Gerrard (D Gerrard Ugrit Willebrod Don Gabriel). Now an independent artist, he previously released the first MV from the new album ‘Astronomy,’ titled ‘Superstar,’ creating a memorable scene of skydiving from a plane with no stand-in. Now for the second MV, D Gerrard wastes no time delivering a new work packed with Easter Eggs, from the story and characters to countless unbelievable elements all merged into one clip. The origin of the song “Full Moon” began with D Gerrard’s intention to write a song about the moon. Then he thought about what the moon brings to mind, leading to the idea of a ‘werewolf.’ This developed into a song in the style of a ‘wolf hunter’ stalking prey at night. Although the story seems like a crazy wolf song on the surface, it subtly conveys themes of searching for true love and a relationship that is not superficial. A key gimmick is the ‘howling,’ used to add charm and make the song easily memorable.

Musically, “Full Moon” is in the R&B/Pop genre blended with West Coast Hip Hop vibes that evoke a gangster atmosphere. It expresses the loneliness of a man seeking true love from a virgin girl to soothe and calm his werewolf instincts on a full moon night. The production involved skilled collaborators, especially mastering engineer Randy Merrill, known for working with global stars like Bruno Mars, who elevated the sound’s detail and quality. The music video was directed, filmed, and edited by AM Picha, while D Gerrard took on the role of Creative Director, designing the concept and story himself. He intentionally breaks the usual MV conventions by presenting a surreal world full of diversity, combining satire, exaggeration, and luxury all at once. The story begins with a small performance by D Gerrard alongside Tik Manaswin Nantasen, known as Tik Shiro, and Jok Korpob Janjaroen, known as Jok Sokool. Then it leads the audience through full entertainment throughout the song, amid many hidden Easter Eggs for viewers to observe and interpret. The climax features the MV’s beautiful heroine, Miss Grand contestant Dada Darathorn Yuthong, or Dada Miss Grand Kalasin 2026, famous for her viral b-boy style dance steps.

D Gerrard confirms that this work is as grand as his previous MV ‘Superstar.’ To find out how the story ends, join the howling together in the MV “Full Moon” now available on YouTube: DGerrard Official. The entire album ‘Astronomy’ is also available on all streaming platforms.
