LISA, the global rapper, singer, dancer, and fashion icon, returns with her new single “SaWaDiKa” and its official music video under LLOUD Co./RCA Records. “SaWaDiKa” marks an exciting new chapter for LISA and is the first single from her upcoming EP PRESS PLAY, set for release on 23 Oct 2023 GMT+7.
“SaWaDiKa,” produced by Thom Bridges and Ojivolta, takes its name from the Thai greeting “สวัสดีค่ะ” (SaWaDiKa). The song sees LISA expressing her identity and Thai heritage once again through her distinctive rap skills and unique hip-hop sound.
The music video for “SaWaDiKa” was filmed in Bangkok, Thailand, LISA's hometown, with Bang Jae Yeob directing. It features many iconic locations throughout Bangkok and highlights dynamic performances, choreography, and fashion looks throughout the video.
Additionally, “SaWaDiKa” is the new single released ahead of LISA’s VIVA LA LISA Residency shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, where all four shows sold out in under 10 minutes. This made her the first K-pop artist to hold a residency in Las Vegas, with performances scheduled for 13–14 and 27–28 Nov 2023 GMT+7.
