Starting from when “Mhuenploy” became known through her cover song clips in #VoiceFromMhuenploy, she conveyed emotions through her unique vocal style, receiving positive responses with the song “Common Words.” She then collaborated with Songkran Rangsarn on “Miss You Till Faint” and “Common Words (reproduced),” marking a turning point for her to seriously pursue a career as an artist.
Although “Mhuenploy” had no prior background in the music industry, her lifelong love of singing led her to pursue this path. Over more than two years, her songs have served as a diary recording stories and feelings from different life stages. Recently, she joined HOLYFOX as an artist and opened a new chapter with the single “Lob.”
“Lob” is Mhuenploy’s tenth single, born from a simple feeling: “I want to have more memories.” She realized that deep down, everyone fears loss and worries that time may be insufficient. The song reinterprets the word “Lob” (greed) not as material greed but as a desire to gather as many good moments as possible with loved ones.
Musically, “Lob” is Cinematic Pop that progresses slowly but carries a sense of urgency and emotional turmoil through sound design, creating an atmosphere of rushing time. At the same time, it maintains warmth and hope. For this song, Mhuenploy invited her younger brother and older sister to join the chorus, reinforcing the song’s diary-like personal story.
Throughout her career, the music behind Mhuenploy’s songs has always involved Pingpong Sirasak. This time is special as she fully collaborates with HOLYFOX for the first time, bringing in skilled artists and producers such as tinn, Oh WANYAi, and Oh Seksan to co-create and enhance the song at every stage.
“Lob” is not just about the fear of loss; it is also an invitation to see ordinary things around us as a bit more special. Sometimes, sharing a meal with family, coming home to a waiting dog, or having someone listen to small daily stories can be more valuable memories than we realize.
