No words were needed because the joy overflowed through the eyes of the “The B” (THE BOYZ's fan club in Thailand), clearly showing how successful Jacob’s first solo concert showcase in Thailand was. Jacob, the Korean-Canadian singer-songwriter and member of the popular boy band THE BOYZ, held the “JACOB 1st Asia Showcase [More Than Words] Tour 2026 in Bangkok” on Saturday, 19 September 2026 at Phenix Auditorium Hall, organized through the collaboration of skilled promoters JPLAN GLOBAL and HIGHBREED Entertainment.
Since stepping into the role of a solo artist, Jacob has revealed his true self through releasing his digital debut EP titled ‘j.’ For this Asia tour showcase, Jacob intended to use his music to convey feelings, love, and gratitude that are “More Than Words,” especially directed to his Thai fans.
Kicking off the fun with “More Than Words,” Jacob appeared with a full live band to let The B fully enjoy his ultra-smooth, soothing vocals with opening songs “OFF THE RECORD” and “MELATONIN.” He then greeted fans, sharing his feelings: “I feel very happy and grateful to all The B. Today I have the chance to see everyone. I know all The B miss THE BOYZ, right? Even though it’s just me today, I will do my best to make sure you all have fun with me.”
After greeting fans, the fun continued as Jacob boosted energy with the cute “Chu Meow” before moving on to “COFFEE” and “BACK & FORTH.” The sound then roared again with “PROMISE (JACOB ft. WONDERFRAME),” a collaboration with Thai artist WONDERFRAME, who appeared as a special guest for their first joint performance. Jacob also performed WONDERFRAME’s song “Suddenly Gone,” taking on the rapper role as well.
With his gold-coated ear monitors on, Jacob picked up an acoustic guitar to add emotional power with songs The B had been waiting for: “Roar” and “Nectar” from THE BOYZ, performed in acoustic versions as requested by the members. He then surprised The B again with a Thai song, “Heart Wall” by Mirrr, turning the sad song into a heartfelt love ballad through his rendition.
Taking a break from singing, it was time for some fun games Jacob prepared to play with The B, including a song-guessing game based on his poses, which showed off his adorable charm and delighted fans. There was also a special bonus when Jacob performed a dance challenge to the song “Lock Target.”
More beautiful songs were served with “SLOW DANCING” and “MISUNDERSTOOD” from ‘j.’ as Jacob played guitar alongside the band, making the stage perfectly worth the wait. Then, with fans holding up banner projects expressing their ongoing support for “Jacob,” the lights across the hall sparkled for “STARS IN THE SKY,” closing the day’s concert showcase.
Before the encore, Jacob performed three songs in full: “ALL I WAS,” “WHERE ARE YOU NOW,” and “I BELONG,” bringing the first solo concert showcase in Thailand to a close. The B left fully satisfied, enjoying Jacob’s charm and wholehearted dedication to presenting music true to himself, delivering joy and happiness that matched the long-awaited debut of him as a passionate solo artist.
