Varis Launches Third Full Album WAIRAI Conveying Life Stories Through 10 Songs

Varis Kongsuwan, a talented young artist from Sony Music Thailand, invited fans to explore his identity and share stories of love, pain, and growth through his third full album "WAIRAI" at the "WAIRAI Listening Party" held on 27 Oct 2026 at Such A Small World. The event featured a warm, friendly atmosphere with fans and fellow artists like Upim LANDOKMAI, Juna Mae, Nicky Warintrat, and Tigger Achira joining to congratulate and support him warmly.

At the event, Varis guided everyone through the 10 songs of his new album, openly discussing the creative process behind "WAIRAI." The special evening concluded with a live performance Varis specially prepared for his fans, leaving a strong impression and filling the intimate atmosphere with heartfelt music.

The event featured Pat Sira Boonsinsuk as host, who interviewed Varis about the origins of "WAIRAI." Varis explained that the album reflects the past 3 to 4 years of his life as he matured into adulthood, experiencing love, farewells, disappointments, and lessons that taught him to overcome pain, let go of some things, and move forward.

"WAIRAI" serves as a continuation of his previous album "supervillain," which depicted one of the darkest periods in his life and his journey to self-love. The new album reflects Varis's growth and deeper self-understanding. The title "WAIRAI" or "villain" represents his current mindset—determined, rebellious, and unbound by old frameworks. For Varis, being a villain doesn't mean being bad, but having the courage to be himself, act on his beliefs, and take pride in who he is.

The event began by immersing fans in the world of "WAIRAI" through listening to all 10 tracks. Varis shared the inspiration and background of each song, starting with "IMPOSTER," the album opener that most clearly reflects his current identity through questioning whether he was truly meant to be an artist. He realized that if he kept believing and moving forward, time would prove everything. Next came "50/50," a pop-punk track with sharp guitar lines about a relationship where one side gives fully but receives unequal love back, followed by "6/8 (Tired of Waiting)," expressing the feelings of someone waiting for another to open up, exhausted but unable to walk away.

Varis then led fans deeper into stories of love and memory with "KEEP," which tells of being apart from a loved one while hoping the other still remembers the good times and shared dreams because their love was once real. Next was "YOURS," a pop ballad led by guitar expressing longing and the small hope that the two might reunite someday. "MAPJ (Can't Change Mind)" is a straightforward portrayal of Varis's real heartbreak, revealing vulnerability through analog rock influenced by 80s–2000s rock mixed with powerful stadium rock sounds.

The album's final section began with "NO EXIT," a song about a relationship shaken by doubt and confusion about which path to take. Then came "with u," an emo-rock track expressing love and bonds that remain despite time passing and many changes, while

"REALITY HITS" features a simple, raw acoustic folk sound conveying perspectives on growing up and learning that reality is not as easy as once thought. Everyone faces change and disappointment to learn acceptance and move forward.

The album closes with "6:00," a summary of all the stories in "WAIRAI." Through this song, Varis wishes to leave a message that even if he is no longer here one day, the songs and stories he created may mean something to someone, helping them see the good in themselves, overcome bad days, and live life on their own terms.

Besides enjoying the music and background stories, the event included fun activities where fans answered questions about Varis to win special prizes. The night ended with an energetic live performance featuring Varis's popular songs in a joyful, friendly atmosphere throughout.

The album "WAIRAI" marks an important milestone in Varis's musical journey, not only sharing life stories and experiences from recent years but also reflecting growth in his mindset and identity across 10 tracks that clearly reveal his personality and musical development.
