Pimrypie, a well-known online seller and influencer, has taken direct action to help flood victims in Hat Yai. In addition to donating 1 million baht and establishing a kitchen at the Mahidol University shelter to prepare meals for those affected, she livestreamed stating that she is clearing out a warehouse to send all the goods to assist relief efforts. She has purchased supplies from Makro, as well as boats and jet skis, without accepting public donations. All funds used are her personal money earned from Thais supporting her live sales.
Pimrypie traveled to Hat Yai, Songkhla Province, to the flood-affected areas with her team. They rode a ten-wheeler truck and took boats to reach the zones, delivering survival kits, food, drinking water, and essential items to those suffering from the massive flood disaster. She also visited Ratphum Hospital to help, as the area was heavily flooded with strong currents, leaving many residents stranded in houses and tall buildings, unable to evacuate. Pimrypie said that although she is a small woman and can only do so much, she will do her best to help because she cannot stand by after seeing the tears of those in distress.
Truly cannot remain inactive.
