During the competition, Off-Road showcased his singing, dancing, and rapping skills at every performance, diligently improving based on judges’ feedback. His efforts paid off when he earned the second-highest votes and debuted as a member of LAZ1, which had a one-year contract before members separated to pursue individual growth.
When Tah Wu and Off-Road crossed paths again,
a strong bond was formed.
After LAZ1 disbanded, both Tah Wu and Off-Road reunited to lead the series "Love in Translation." This series sparked a wave of popularity for their on-screen pairing, boosting their fame both domestically and internationally.
They have mentioned in interviews that transitioning from working as a group in LAZ1 to working as a duo in the series required significant adjustment and mutual understanding. This process brought them closer, allowing them to know each other better, find their rhythm, and communicate more intimately. From then until now, Tah Wu and Off-Road have become very good partners.
Thanks to their strong chemistry and distinctive style, Tah Wu and Off-Road landed lead roles in the series "Century of Love." They made a remarkable leap in their acting, shifting from the youthful look in "Love in Translation" to more intense, dramatic roles. Their performances were so impactful that many regard their acting in this series as iconic, delivering deeply emotional and gripping portrayals.
Tah Wu once said about Off-Road that from the first day of competing, it felt like they were on the same team. Whether by coincidence or fate, they have been together since then. Reflecting back, it is quite moving. From that day to today, about 4 to 5 years later, they've been together every day, growing up side by side. They've walked from dreams to reality together, and Tah Wu is glad to always have Off-Road by his side.
When asked how it would be if Tah Wu didn't have Off-Road or vice versa, Tah Wu replied, “I never thought about that, because even if one day we have to work separately, we will still continue living our lives together. We won't be working for 30 or 50 years anyway. In the end, we'll grow up together and we definitely won't disappear from each other's lives.” Off-Road added, “He is my support and my home. We love each other.”
Their close and strong bond is evident from moments showing their care and affection, making many see their relationship as both friendship and deep connection. For example, on the recent Valentine's Day, Tah Wu surprised Off-Road with a large bouquet of flowers at a fancy restaurant, and Off-Road once gave Tah Wu a matching ring. They have overcome difficult times together and continue to support each other in pursuing their dreams.
