Another rising boy group in the T-POP scene is PERSES. They belong to GNEST, a subsidiary of GMM Grammy, and consist of five young members. Jang Wikor Booranapinyo (Leader / Main Rapper), Nae Narun Wikaeirungroj (Visual Rapper), Kritin Sorsungnoen (Main Vocal), Palm Peerawit Pintha (Main Dancer), and Plugky Tharakhon Kamsing. The youngest member of the group, each is highly talented with outstanding singing and dancing skills, delivering flawless performances that have won full support from their fans, the PIECES.
As for the group's name, PERSES comes from the name of a Greek god, known as the god of destruction who breaks down the old to create the new, or "The Destroyer." It symbolizes endings that lead to new beginnings. PIECES, the name of their fandom, means "pieces" because every fan is a part that completes the group. It also sounds like the Thai word for "special," reflecting the unique bond between the group and their fans. Regarding their entertainment journey, PERSES debuted with the song “MY TIME” and held their debut stage at BLOCK I, Siam Square, on 28 Sep 2022 GMT+7. They are the first boy group from GNEST, and their debut created a buzz with powerful vocals, fluid yet strong and fierce choreography, reflecting over 4,000 hours of training. Additionally, PERSES has released many singles such as TOUCHDOWN, BOUNCE, Far Too Close, Cuteless, BODYGUARD, Over, ONE SHOT (feat. PiXXiE), Prompt Play, Comment, FREEZE, and most recently "KITTY SWAG," whose music video released on 12 Nov 2025 GMT+7 has surpassed 1.5 million views. They also held their first major concert, PERSES THE FIRST CONCERT ‘INTO THE ALTERLAND,’ on 22 Nov 2025 GMT+7 at Thunder Dome, Muang Thong Thani.
About their personalities, the five members shared with Thairath Entertainment about themselves. Nae is quite quiet, speaking only about topics he is interested in. For subjects he lacks experience or knowledge in, he prefers to listen and is a good listener. Palm describes himself as not very talkative, usually smiling instead of speaking, and has always been taught to smile through both happy and tough times.
Plugky sees himself as bright and dislikes dark places. His energy varies by day; when tired, he feels down but adjusts to Thailand’s weather—hot days tire him, but he gets lively at night after the sun sets. Kritin says he talks a lot, enjoys chatting with people he wants to get to know and close friends, but has high personal boundaries and is always alert. He stays active and finds friends to hang out with if he has free time.
Lastly, Jang describes himself as adaptable to any environment, able to adjust conversations to suit each situation. He considers himself calm and kind but admits he has been quick-tempered lately (laughs). He approaches challenges with a positive mindset, believing good things will follow, and is a person with clear goals.
