The case involving Way Thaitanium continues to attract public interest. Way Thaitanium husband of Nana Rybena A victim has filed a criminal complaint against the famous singer for fraud, claiming they were deceived into investing money in stock trading and lost more than 50 million baht.
According to information from a senior source at the Central Investigation Bureau, authorities are currently investigating Way Thaitanium's case in two directions. The first is to determine whether Way was involved with Nana Rybena in defrauding the initial group of victims.
The second direction is investigating the complaint from a victim who filed fraud charges against Way Thaitanium after being deceived into investing money in stock trading, resulting in losses exceeding 50 million baht. The victim stated that
A few months ago, Way contacted the victim to invite them to invest in stock trading, claiming it was an opportunity to invest with a famous businessman through him as an intermediary. He asserted that the businessman was an expert trader who could generate substantial profits in a short time. Trusting this, the victim decided to invest over 50 million baht through Way.
However, the victim began to notice suspicious behavior, particularly involving Nana, Way’s wife. They then contacted the businessman whose name was used and learned that no such stock trading investment existed; the businessman had no prior knowledge and was not involved in any such investments.
The victim decided to submit documents including money transfer slips directly to Way’s account and chat messages as evidence to the investigators of Division 4, Economic Crime Suppression Division, to support the case against Way Thaitanium.
