Alek Teeradetch Awaits Breakthrough as Lead in 100-Million Baht Film Next Door, Confirms Marriage to Bow Malada

Alek Teeradetch is set to become a lead actor in a 100-million baht film. Alek Teeradetch His film "Next Door" has received very positive feedback, earning 5 million baht on its first day. Recently, at the “Enjoy Your Bright Moments with LEMONY – LEMONY 1st Anniversary Celebration” held at LEMONY STORE, 4th floor Central Pinklao, Alek shared his pride in being part of this movie, saying:

"Yes, I'm very happy. I put my heart into every project, but this is my first horror film. I don't act in films often, and the initial response has been very good. I'm happy for everyone involved in this movie. It lifts my spirits. During filming, I was unwell and quite exhausted, but seeing the positive reactions from viewers—people scared and giving good reviews—makes me very glad."

Is 100 million baht within reach?

"I follow social media quite a bit. They say with this kind of opening, it shouldn't be difficult (smiles). Please support it."

On becoming a 100-million or even billion-baht lead actor?

"Amen, amen. It's already on Netflix (a different matter?). Don't forget to watch the movie 'Next Door.' It's a horror film that offers more than just scares; it's entertaining and fun. You'll scream and laugh with the person next to you."

How did Bow review it?

"At the gala screening, she sat behind me and was amazed throughout the movie. When I had to say a rude line, she cheered me on, which was very funny. I told my friend Khom that the voice behind me was Bow. Khom said he was purposely checking audience reactions and noted that the person behind was one of them. At first, he didn't realize it was Bow; he thought it was someone else. The movie is fun."

Did she rate your acting?

"I already know the movie well, so I focus on other aspects like how the audience reacts. Bow watched and told me that this movie is something I can be proud of, that it's very good. I'm happy because Bow is an actress herself. When she praises the work, not just me but the whole production, it means a lot. She really liked it. There's nothing to criticize."

You've had work consistently all year?

"Yes, I've been busy, and next year will be busy too."

Going against the trend of others?

"Others have work too, right? I have it all—dramas, films, endorsements, fan meets. I hope it continues like this. It depends on timing. I focus on my work and consider myself lucky to have seniors giving me opportunities. I'm thankful to everyone—seniors, fans, and myself for being dedicated."

Many channels are reducing drama production. Does this worry you?

"I think the entertainment industry is changing. Some areas are growing. We have to adapt to trends. People in the industry today change very quickly. We can't just stay still."

Working, earning money, marrying, and you've fixed on this person?

"Yes, I've been set on this for a long time, just waiting for the right timing. I’m not going anywhere, and she’s not either. (Talking about the future?) It’s already planned. It’s the next step, including starting a family. Everything depends on the right moment—no specific auspicious date yet. When the time comes, it will happen."
