Previously, Lawyer Saiyut Pengboonchu came to the Central Investigation Bureau to accompany Way Thaitanium to meet with investigators as requested by the police.
Lawyer Saiyut told the media he did not yet know why the police summoned Way, but he believed the allegations of fraud involving Way and Nana Raibina were unlikely to be strongly connected, since Nana admitted acting alone and only spoke with one of his friends, having no ties to Way’s group.
Later, Way arrived at the Central Investigation Bureau accompanied by his wife, Nana Raibina. However, neither appeared before the media.
Around 17:30, Way and Nana left the bureau. When reporters requested interviews, Way said to direct questions to Lawyer Saiyut instead.
Lawyer Saiyut gave another statement, revealing that today’s meeting with officials was solely to open a digital wallet. Other cases in the news, including the 50-million-baht stock trading fraud reported by victims, were not discussed. Further summons for questioning on those matters may be issued later by authorities.
