Uncertain about what happened, Best Kamsing felt compelled to post a heartfelt and lengthy message on Facebook, which read:
"I never wanted to post anything before, but now some groups are criticizing me harshly about disrespect, social class division, and clinging to others to create a buzz. You can criticize me however you want, but I care deeply about respecting others and not bullying anyone.
Since I was born, I have never had the habit of bullying or disrespecting anyone. During our live streams, "we" joke and tease each other ("we" means all of us—the people on the live stream, those mentioned, and commenters). At that time, we were just joking around and having fun; no one took offense.
But one day, if I do something displeasing, they gang up on me with insults. Why is it wrong when a woman jokes back or teases? When I stay quiet, they say I’ve changed or am unwilling to live stream. Why is it always women who get targeted? Look closely—I’ve always kept to myself. I’ve worked in this field for a long time, creating content, doing photo and video reviews, live streaming, acting in dramas, appearing at events, and product tie-ins on TV shows. I have earned my own money this way for a long time.
Now, if I do something that displeases others, they insult me and even accuse me of clinging to others. I never cling to anyone. I respect everyone so much that I don’t even get close to many people. The ones I’m truly close to can be counted on one hand. I don’t want anyone to think I’m clingy.
Every piece of content I post is just showing affection—whether with friends or older brothers. I want to keep those sweet moments for myself. Before posting, I always ask my friends and colleagues for permission. I have enough manners for that. I’ve done this for a long time. When I worked closely with certain people, I posted with them.
When I worked at different places or new places, I posted with those I became close to. This has always been my way. So, those who are criticizing me now—if you truly dislike or are upset with me, just ignore me. Please don’t gang up to criticize and put down women together. Respect me as I respect all groups. Thank you."
Many of Best’s fans have come forward to offer her an outpouring of support and encouragement.
