Back again with an exclusive interview, today Thairath Entertainment spoke with the rising star LEE CHAE MIN, a young actor full of charm and talent who is captivating women across Asia. He is known for his role as King Lee Hun in the hit series Bon Appétit, Your Majesty. He recently met Thai CHAEMFs at his first fan meeting during the 2025 LEE CHAE MIN FANMEETING TOUR 'Chaem-into you' in BANGKOK on Saturday, 6 December 2025 GMT+7.
Before meeting Thai CHAEMFs, the young actor kindly gave us a personal interview slot to talk about his work behind the scenes, his feelings toward his Thai fans, and his challenging future roles — all shared with his bright smile and cheerful energy.
At the scheduled time, we met with Chae Min and welcomed him to Thailand for his first visit. Chae Min greeted his fans by saying, "Hello Thairath Online fans, I’m LEE CHAE MIN," accompanied by a gentle smile that captivated his female fans instantly.
We didn’t waste a second and asked Chae Min our first question: The series Bon Appétit, Your Majesty was very successful and increased your fanbase. How do you feel about that? He replied,
"Actually, as an actor, when any character I play is loved by many fans, it makes me very proud and happy."
We then asked Chae Min what he considers his most powerful tool or weapon in acting (such as eyes, voice, or gestures) to communicate emotions effectively to the audience. Chae Min answered,
"Usually, I have very strong focus and concentration. When acting, I think my ability to concentrate on one thing deeply is my strength."
Next, we asked him which new genre he would most like to try if given the chance, choosing between extreme comedy or intense action-thriller. Chae Min answered,
"I want to try comedy because I’m playful by nature and want to bring happiness to everyone through smiles," sharing a tender smile after his answer.
Because Chae Min’s charming smile matches his acting talent, we asked how he feels when he reads comments from fans about his smile — does he feel shy, proud, or want to smile more? The handsome actor blushed slightly before answering,
"Honestly, it makes me happy when people compliment my smile. It makes me want to smile more and get better at smiling."
Next, we wanted to know what brings Chae Min the most happiness in a day outside of work and why. His answer was,
"Exercising alone, playing piano alone, or listening to music alone — being by myself helps me recharge my energy."
We then asked if he had to choose between playing basketball or resting on the sofa during a day off, which would he pick and why? Chae Min answered without hesitation,
"Definitely basketball, because I love basketball and I think it’s better to nap in the evening."
Now that he is in Thailand, we didn’t miss asking which Thai dish has won his heart. The handsome actor said,
"I have just arrived in Thailand recently, so I haven’t had the chance to try many dishes yet. But yesterday, I thanked the team for preparing watermelon smoothie. I normally like watermelon, but this one was so sweet and delicious."
A question that made us quite fond of Chae Min was asking which Thai word he likes the most right now. He tried saying it for us: "เริ่ดเลยล่ะ" (meaning "Awesome"), giving double thumbs up and a cute smile. He pronounced it very clearly and seemed to really like this phrase — truly awesome!
Having received great love and support from Thai CHAEMFs, we asked Chae Min to leave a message for his Thai fans. He left a sweet message saying,
"Thank you all so much for your love and for giving me strength and encouragement. I will do my best to repay everyone’s love." After answering, he closed the discussion about his Thai CHAEMFs with a warm and heartfelt smile.
For the final question of this special interview, we asked Chae Min to share upcoming projects for fans to look forward to. The young actor said,
"I don’t have any confirmed projects right now, but to make viewers and fans happy, I will try to find the best characters and works for everyone to enjoy in the future."
Then Chae Min sent a sweet line that surely melted the hearts of Thai CHAEMFs: "Can I stay by Your Majesty’s side?" With such a charming plea, who wouldn’t want to be by the King’s side?
