He has become widely known and much talked about for First One Wannakorn Ruangrat a rising actor and artist from Domundi TV (DMD), famous for his role as “Jettana” in the series Khemjira The Series who is paired romantically with Tel Matiman
Recently, First One attended an event alongside the cast of “Khemjira The Series,” and his outfit that day wowed fans, as he stood out strikingly and brought a spicy flair that had fans snapping photos rapidly.
The response to the event was mixed: some praised his fashion as fresh and fitting his personality, loving his look that day; however, others felt his feminine fashion style marked a sharp contrast to his usual image. They questioned the appropriateness of his outfit and perceived a disconnect between his appearance and the gender identity he had previously presented. While not objecting to fashion per se, some felt his mannerisms and expression seemed to mock the LGBTQ+ community, sparking debate in the comments.
Recently, First One posted a statement clarifying that he never intended to mock anyone, explaining that his mannerisms come from being raised by transgender friends, and he sees these behaviors as endearing.
“Clothing and personality are very personal matters. I understand that sometimes people might feel confused or unfamiliar with someone's identity, but I want people to consider the other side: if that person likes or wants to try and explore themselves, aren’t we being too harsh?
Judging someone prematurely is unfair, especially when society today encourages everyone to dare to try new things and embrace diverse selves. I believe a person can have many looks and enjoy different personas without causing harm to anyone.
I truly have no intention of mocking anyone. The mannerisms you see come from my transgender older siblings who raised me. Those behaviors are cute in my eyes and not intended to ridicule at all.
But if what I have done makes anyone uncomfortable or upset, I sincerely apologize. I have many sides—sometimes serious and quiet, other times cheerful and funny, even clingy and playful. If you truly follow me, you’ve seen all these facets.
I admit I’m still quite childlike, and I try to adapt to social contexts while not wanting to lose my identity completely.
I want to take this chance to confirm that Domundi TV has never forced artists to dress or act a certain way. The company supports the kids fully being themselves, so there’s no need to worry. The company is very open, and we feel comfortable.
I hope everyone understands what I’m trying to express and values individual growth. Choosing to try new clothes, makeup, or styles is part of self-discovery. Please allow us space to experiment, have fun, and learn. I’m happy being P’Wann, Nong Paew, and Jessica. I don’t want anyone’s judgment to stop someone from being themselves. You can praise me as cute, handsome, or beautiful—I love it. Thanks for the support.”
Following First One’s post, Nooniew Chawarin commented with encouragement, saying, “No one can judge someone’s identity except themselves. No one can diminish our abilities or value. First is talented, loved by many, and truly capable. Keep the confidence up.”
Tel, First One’s on-screen partner, also commented, “Be yourself fully in every way you want. I will always support you.”
Fans also sent much encouragement to First One, saying that no matter how he dresses, as long as he is confident, happy, and not harming anyone, they fully support him.
