It became a topic that drew significant public attention after Noom Kanchai, the famous host, posted the message, “Before looking down on others, maybe you should wash your hands and clean your own feet first—they're still dirty,” which led people to wonder who the post was about and caused some to take it personally.
Recently, Moddam Kachapa spoke about this issue on the show "Chae" because she had just met Noom Kanchai during the "Khao Sai Khai" program earlier that evening before coming to "Chae." Moddam said,
“To be honest, there’s no need to take it personally. He wasn’t insulting anyone. The story is this: I know that he has been watching news about Donald Trump lately. The show "Hon Krasae" has been covering Trump, blaming Thailand often. So he posted, 'Before looking down on others, maybe you should wash your hands and clean your own feet first—they're still dirty.' For example, America has dropped bombs and supported wars. He was really into the Trump news, so he posted on Facebook.
I don’t understand why people take it so personally. I get that news viewers get involved emotionally. This is his private space. He’s really engaged. He just invited Wasana Nanuam. He’s into the news about Thailand and Cambodia. In plain terms, he wasn’t insulting anyone. He just thought before accusing Thailand of excessive violence, or calling a bomb trap an accident, then making an official report and claiming to be the only one who ordered the ceasefire,
Noom is someone who reads political and current news before presenting it—not just reading scripts. Even when hosting midnight shows, he still calls guests. He’s very involved. Donald Trump criticizes others, but he’s done so much to many countries before telling us what to do.”
Moddam also said no one was being targeted, so there is no reason to feel offended. He wasn’t referring to anyone in particular.
