The entire group is emotionally shaken after learning the truth about their close friend. Nana Rybena The pain felt like heartbreak for the angel gang. Recently, there was a chance to meet Janie Thienphosuwan and Kris Horwang Before going into the final round of the In The 8ight show at Workpoint Studio in Pathum Thani Province, the two shared their mental states.
Kris Horwang admitted she was among the first to know but did not say much because she was not a victim. However, she offered support and was a shoulder to cry on for friends. Janie revealed she is still deeply hurt and that everyone’s mental strength is weak, but she wanted to send encouragement to Nana as well.
How have you two been through what happened?
Kris: “For me, I was one of the first to know, but I didn’t speak because I wasn’t a victim. Still, I supported everyone. If anyone needed to talk or a shoulder to cry on, I was there to advise. But when the matter became too big for advice, I could only offer encouragement.”
How is Janie’s mental state? We might have asked before, but has she recovered?
Janie: “It’s hard to be fully okay.”
Kris: “Everyone loves her; she’s such a lovely person. Even though I’ve been away for 7-8 years and just returned, I remember how kind she was. I can’t imagine how painful it is for the friends who feel heartbroken. All I can do is ask if they’re managing today. Other matters, like police and lawyers, are separate, but mental health is another issue. Janie (looking at Janie), please don’t cry.”
We see Janie is close with her and they’re like family?
Kris: “I think Janie is the closest. Everyone can see that. They’re so close, practically inseparable. But others wouldn’t say they’re not close either; everyone is close and equally saddened.”
What is the state of the angel gang today?
Kris: “Actually, the term ‘angel gang’ was given by the media about 10 years ago to collectively refer to us. But in the end, a friend group is just a friend group. People come and go, but the love sent to anyone remains the same.”
How do you heal yourselves?
Kris: “Actually, we try to live as normally as possible so life doesn’t become depressing. It’s heavy for everyone. Whether one is affected more or less, even Janie said that even if it was just one baht, she would be hurt. It’s not just about money for them, as far as I’ve heard. That’s about it.”
Is Janie stronger now? How is she today?
Janie: “(Shakes head)”
Fans have been very supportive. Is there anything you want to say?
Janie: “I want to pass encouragement to Nana as well, because today, we all hurt together.”
Kris: “Honestly, I hope there’s the best solution for everyone, but everyone must continue living well. If someone is depressed every day, how will they live? How will their children be? I have children too. Everyone has to try to act as normally as possible.”
So, you don’t want to add pressure?
Kris: “Actually, they probably already pressure themselves.”
Have you had a chance to talk with her?
Kris: “With whom? (With Nana?) Oh.”
She said she wanted friends to give her a chance to answer the phone once?
Janie: “Her secretary has answered calls. I feel like my heart is still shattered today.”
But you want time to take care of your own heart first?
Janie: “Yes, I mostly talk to Kris about other things. We don’t mention this because it’s truly painful.”
Kris: “Everyone wonders why we can still smile in life. Actually, we make ourselves smile daily to keep going. (Everyone has their moments of sadness?) Yes.”
