Boy Pisanu Responds After Being Linked to Borrowing 4 Million Baht from Tonhom Sakuntala, Reveals Who Actually Borrowed

Regarding the incident where Tonhom Sakuntala did a livestream revealing she was missing over 4 million baht with no sign of getting it back, causing many to link the issue to her close friend Boy Pisanu being the person who borrowed this large sum of money or not.

Recently, at the BEYOND THE SCREEN MOVIE LINE UP 2026 press conference by DREAM MAKER & NOB PRODUCTIONS held at PARAGON CINEPLEX, 5TH FLOOR, SIAM PARAGON, Boy answered questions about this matter, saying

People are linking Tonhom's issue to you?

Me? Just the other day I even asked Tonhom to lend me 10,000 baht, and she said no. Don't even think that 4,000,000 baht was borrowed by me, because she wouldn't even lend me 10,000 baht. I feel sorry for her (laughs). It's not me—she borrowed and they didn't give it.

Are you aware that you are being linked to this?

I had no idea. (Are you close?) Not me. If it was a small amount, she probably would have lent it. (Do you often borrow from her?) She borrows from me. I might seem well-off, but lately I haven't been lending because of all the news (laughs).

Why are you confident about lending to friends?

Tonhom is a close friend. Every time there's a sad reason, I soften and lend her money. (What kind of reasons?) Boy transferred 200,000 baht first because his father was hospitalized. I was surprised why the bank wouldn't help, why she had to ask me to transfer. But after she asked, I called Tonhom again to check if it was really her, worried it might be a fake AI scam.

Did you ask Tonhom who borrowed the money?

I did. I wanted to know if someone like that could be involved. (Any hints?) No hints—I don't want to be part of it. Should I be the one to speak? Would anything come back on me if I did? It's Tonhom's issue, and I don't know how sensitive it is to others. I'd rather not answer, but yes, it involves money and actual losses.

Are you shocked that our friend lent the money?

It might not be a simple lending issue. Maybe it was work or investment that didn't return the money. Yes, probably something like that because I believe someone like Tonhom wouldn't just lend out 4 million baht in cash. It might be in some other form.

What's your view on lending money to friends or borrowing from them?

It really depends on the person. Lending money should be a last resort. If you have a close friend and they have a problem but you don't, if you can help you want to. But in the end, it depends on the individual. Before I was famous, if I borrowed from anyone, no one lent me because money is a sensitive issue. But once you have a name and some money, people come to borrow from you. It feels unfair sometimes. When people come to borrow, I don't know why. But if it's a close friend and the amount isn't big, sure, it can be lent and repaid. The first two or three times are good with timely repayments, but if the first time isn't good, the next won't be either. If borrowing causes us hardship, then it's serious.

Have you borrowed money from others recently?

I haven't borrowed. I'm not at a bad point yet. The reason I spoke up was because reporters asked how things were going. I just said work is slow, money isn't the same, living off savings. I'm not desperate enough to borrow money from others to support my family. It's not that bad. Work is slow, so I have to start a new business and adapt to current situations.

You wouldn't borrow money unless it was absolutely necessary?

If it wasn't serious, I wouldn't ask. I understand borrowing is tough. Everyone is struggling in this economy, everyone has their own expenses. Even when others want to borrow from me, I think about my own tight expenses. But if it's a small amount that doesn't affect life, that's okay. Otherwise, better not.

How is your business now?

I still have a tour company offering private tours—anyone interested can contact me. Also, Salmon Boy. Please support. Lately, I've been trying to open booths often.
