Tah Wu Pittaya was given the opportunity to perform alongside Kratae Rsiam at the SEA Games 2025 closing ceremony as a Thai artist. After the show, he posted about his feelings, saying they had only three days to rehearse. He emphasized that without true teamwork, it would have been impossible. He also revealed that he was initially contacted to perform at the opening ceremony but declined. Eventually, he was invited to represent Thailand at the closing ceremony. He admitted feeling a lot of pressure but was determined to give his all once assigned the role.
“The SEA Games closing ceremony is over now. We only had three days for the entire show; without unity, it just couldn’t be done. Actually, I had been contacted earlier to perform at the opening ceremony, but I decided not to. Later, I was asked to perform at the closing ceremony instead.”
He was tasked with representing the country at the SEA Games closing ceremony amid criticism, which was extremely stressful. But once assigned, Tah Wu and Kratae knew there was no room for shame. He acknowledged that he is not as famous as Kratae or other senior artists, but having committed to this, his mindset was to do his best as simply “one Thai artist” among many. Just one Thai artist, and that’s who he is.
The show was very moving despite many limitations, especially time constraints. He thanked Kratae, the Index team, the ONE31 team, and all involved for their cooperation. Given the short time they had, it was regrettable, as more time would have made things even better. Still, he expressed deep gratitude to everyone who helped make the performance happen. Finally, he said he did his utmost as a Thai artist for the Thai people.
Many who saw Tah Wu’s message responded with hearts and praise, admiring his talent and saying he did an excellent job—truly the best.
