The age-gap couple have successfully reconciled. Go Tee Aramboy and Nong Baimint Despite a 24-year age difference, their love is very sweet and intense. Previously, Go Tee live-streamed sadly, saying his girlfriend had broken up with him, but he didn't want to end things. He took responsibility for the breakup and asked people not to blame her. Soon after, they got back together as before.
Recently, Go Tee and Nong Baimint attended The Social Warrior Season 2 Final Round at the POP MART BLOCK I plaza, Siam Square. They revealed that they were just sulking with each other—perhaps because he is older, he acted a bit childish toward her.
Go Tee said, "Actually, we only sulked for two days. Being older, I might have been a bit childish with a Gen Z kid. The reason is that I'm attached to my girlfriend. When she went home to her mother, I felt like, 'Why isn't she talking to me?' So I acted childish toward her. When asked who apologized first, I did."
Baimint said, "When he acted childish, my emotions took over, so I wanted to break up. But after talking with my family and starting to understand each other, we got back together. Asked how childish Go Tee was, I said quite a lot (laughs). But now he's improving and trying to adjust for me, too. What softened my heart was that I was about to have my period, so my mood changed, and I was snappy."
What will you do if childishness happens again?
Go Tee replied, "Before, I talked with his older brother like adults. His brother said not to post anything on social media if something happens. I promised him and Baimint that from now on, we'll talk first if there's any issue. Regarding the age gap, I have no problem hanging out with her."
Baimint said, "No problem for me either. Age doesn't matter. We get along well. Sometimes he's even more sulky than me. But if things get serious, they get really serious. We've agreed that if it happens again for the first, second, or third time, that's enough."
How do you feel about him saying he's attached to you?
Baimint said, "Lately, I'm starting to get attached to him too. (Why?) Because I love him (laughs shyly)."
Many people are cheering for your relationship?
Go Tee said, "Thanks to everyone cheering us on. I want this to be my last love. I tell her to say if she's unhappy because an old man like me will adjust. This is the last chance; if it doesn't work out, I'll move on to something else (he gestures flirtatiously). As for marriage, right now I just want her to finish school. She's only in her first year at 21. We're not focusing on marriage yet, but I'm ready to have a family; we just have to wait for her to graduate."
How does your family feel about this relationship?
Go Tee said, "I brought her to meet my mother, and I also met her mother. My mother said no matter who I love, she will love them too because she once told me that in the end, when she passes away, I have to choose who stays with me myself."
Baimint said, "My family really loves him a lot."
Go Tee said, "Her grandmother even went to make a vow to Luang Pho Sothon. When she heard Baimint had broken up with me, her grandmother prayed to Luang Pho Sothon to help us get back together."
Baimint added, "He likes to sing likay (traditional Thai folk opera) for us, so my mother and grandmother enjoy it."
