After a couple brought their dog to share a buffet table at a restaurant, sparking controversy despite the venue’s clear Pet Friendly sign, some questioned how people and dogs could share a table and plates, raising concerns about cleanliness. This led to heavy criticism of the restaurant.
From the restaurant’s perspective, signs clearly state it is Pet Friendly, allowing pets inside. They also keep human and pet dishes separate to avoid mixing, with utensils washed separately according to their procedures. Moreover, the restaurant does not require all customers to sit with pets.
Recently, comedian and singer Tuk Siriporn Yuyod who is also a dog lover, shared her thoughts on Instagram @tucknuipooh, saying, “I want to support the restaurant owner. The place clearly states it’s pet friendly. If someone doesn’t like that, they can simply choose to eat elsewhere.”
“But those who love dogs accept it, and the owner made this restaurant specifically for dog lovers. There are plenty of other restaurants to choose from. I don’t understand why people want to create drama. I actually wish there were more places like this. Sending encouragement to the restaurant,” she added.
Meanwhile, Kae Chollada commented, “I’ll go support them,” while fans responded with hundreds of messages such as, “She’s right. It’s clearly marked pet friendly. If you don’t like it, just go somewhere else,” “I love supporting this. Sending strength to the owner. We love dogs and cats, we understand,” “Great to have places like this. I want to bring my kids,” and “Support for places like this,” among others.
