Previously, there was intense controversy when Mor Plai Phray Krasip issued a prediction about the Thai-Cambodian border situation, stating that within one to two days a major incident and severe unrest would occur. This caused widespread public panic and anxiety, resulting in a backlash against her.
Recently, she disappeared from the public eye, leading many to wonder where Mor Plai had gone. She was recently seen at the gala premiere of the comedy film “Hor Taew Tak: Haek Lee Hu” at Infinity Hall, 5th floor, Paragon Cineplex, Siam Paragon shopping center. There, she respectfully apologized to society for any distress her words caused and promised not to repeat it, pledging to speak only positive things in the future.
How have you been since you disappeared for a while?
“I'm starting to come back now. I'm healthy. My heart and body are still strong. I'm much better.”
Did the drama affect your mental health a lot?
“Quite a lot. It happened while I was filming Hor Taew Tak, right on the day of the incident, so I was quite stressed. I experienced both panic and depression during that time, but I recovered fairly quickly.”
We heard you were hospitalized. What was wrong?
"Actually, I was already being tested for SLE, but the doctor feared a flare-up, so they took additional blood tests. Mentally, at that time, I was stressed about the hospital news, but it wasn’t to a severe degree."
Are you back to 100% now?
“I ask everyone to give me the chance to fully recover to 100% (smiles). Because in this profession and with predictions, it depends on people giving opportunities too. It’s not just about mental strength being 100%. Also, I must admit my confidence in speaking and answering questions has decreased quite a bit compared to before.”
Are you more cautious now when making predictions?
“I think very carefully, yes.”
What lessons have you learned from the past events?
“I have learned lessons and am very cautious now. But I also want to apologize to everyone (hands raised in respect) for the things I said that upset many people. I won’t do that again. I will be careful with my words and speak only good things (smiles).”
Are there any topics you will no longer predict?
“Anything that benefits the majority and doesn’t harm any party will continue as usual, as I am a fortune teller and predictor. But I will not make predictions that target individuals.”
Did the news affect your credibility?
“Actually, the prediction itself didn’t affect me as much as the rumor that I was involved in money laundering and arrested. That hurt the most and damaged my reputation severely. But we filed a complaint, and the cyber police have been working to catch the offenders. We have all the legal documents, so I have recovered well. But that period was very difficult, and those were completely separate issues.”
There were rumors that many organizations filed complaints against you. Is that true?
“I have not received any summons or legal notices at all. None.”
What changes will you make going forward?
“I need to make more accurate predictions (laughs), possibly do more meditation, and try to diversify my work by exploring businesses or other activities to see what I can do.”
Have you ever thought about quitting fortune telling?
“Often. The more I think about quitting, the more work comes in, so I can’t quit because I feel I was born to do this. But I might focus more on spirit catching or altar setting, which is actually my main work, not fortune telling. Most people just think I mainly do predictions.”
Are you back to working as usual now?
“Yes, I’m back to normal. I’ve started appearing in the media again. I make predictions during New Year about being cautious in early, mid, and late year—just like other fortune tellers.”},{
