After the female luk thung (Thai country) singer Yui Yatiyoa posted a message announcing she would no longer accept singing gigs but would focus on product presenter roles, saying, “I will no longer accept singing jobs. I apologize to all who have contacted me for singing work. I will only accept product presenter and product review jobs. Thank you very much.”
She later added, “The era of me as a singer is over, but there is still a lot of potential on social media in the future. I must sincerely thank my fans very much, because no matter what I do, they continue to show love and happiness together. Thank you.”
However, a netizen commented harshly, “Why take presenter jobs when you haven’t lost weight? Presenters have to be beautiful. Presenters need to use their looks and figure. I’m just speaking the truth, not flattering. I don’t want to lie to my feelings.”
In response, Yui Yatiyoa captured this comment and posted it on her personal Facebook, along with a clip of the collagen product brand she represents. She then wrote a sharp reply to that netizen: “Sorry, brother, this must be a misunderstanding because you’re not in the industry. If you want to publicly shame someone with lots of typing but know nothing,
I must say, don’t be foolish. There are plenty of other presenters, brother. Presenters don’t have to be beautiful. Nowadays, they choose real users, those who are genuinely good, with some fame as proof, you idiot.”
