“To the year 2025,
Thank you for everything—the laughter, the tears, and the invaluable lessons that only time can reveal.
This year, I confronted the most broken and vulnerable parts of myself, yet simultaneously discovered my strongest self. I fought battles unseen by others and endured many days requiring every ounce of strength just to keep moving forward.
But in the end, I made it through... I am incredibly proud of myself for still standing here, despite many moments so difficult I hardly believed I could overcome them.
I have learned I have a choice: to remain stuck in the wreckage of pain or to rise above it. Those wounds may not have been caused by me, but healing them is my responsibility. It is up to me to reclaim happiness, rebuild myself, and move beyond it, because those who hurt us will never be the ones to repair us.
Once I accepted this truth, I stopped waiting for apologies or closure from others. Instead, I gave it to myself, and that was the beginning of true freedom.
Thank you, 2025, for teaching me that “just surviving” is a tremendous achievement. Thank you for showing me that being kind to myself is not weakness but growth. And thank you for reminding me that on some days, the bravest thing I can do is simply get through the day.
I am deeply grateful to those who stood by me, both on sunny days and through stormy ones. Thank you for being a safe space; you will always hold a place in my heart.
In 2026, I hope to give as much time to “happiness” as to “strength.” May I find more peace within, experience gentler days, and become a self who loves herself more. HAPPY 2026 EVERYONE.”
