Ending the year with smiles and thrilling moments for the fandom, the seven members of WHIB—Kim Junmin, Haseung, Jinbeom, Ugeon, Leejeong, Jaeha, and Wonjun—held their first concert in Thailand. This event was more than just a stage performance; it marked the beginning of a new chapter that the seven members and their official Thai fanclub, AnD, wrote together with love and unforgettable memories. The concert, "WHIB 1st FANCON [AnD : New Chapter] In Bangkok," took place on Sunday, 21 December 2023 GMT+7 at the KBank Siam Pic-Ganesha Theater. It was organized by C JeS Studio and Looplabel in partnership with Triple Check Co., Ltd.
WHIB ignited the stage with their charm through the songs ‘BANG OUT’ and ‘DIZZY,’ amid deafening screams from Thai AnD fans that astonished the artists. They said it was the loudest cheering since their debut, fueling their energy to perform with full power throughout the event. Next, they engaged fans in a game called “Point and Talk – The Answer is… You!” where each member randomly picked a message and hugged one member matching its description, while the others guessed why that choice was made. The members perfectly understood each other, answering correctly and sharing adorable moments. After the game, the seven continued to delight fans with the song ‘Make it,’ which featured a surprise from Thai AnD fans who lit up their phone flashlights and placed colorful star stickers, creating a warm atmosphere. Meanwhile, three members—Junmin, Leejeong, and Wonjun—prepared a special dance stage with the song “Sweaty,” followed by the full team performing “Outside” and a dance challenge game called ‘One Heart Challenge,’ impressively scoring perfect marks on every random song.
The fun didn’t stop there. WHIB surprised seven lucky fans with signed posters scented with each member’s favorite perfume, making it a heartwarming gift. They then invited everyone to enjoy the song 배로 (Rush of Joy), followed by a return to the stage in bright outfits for the song 해! (play). This segment included another fan surprise: a light box spelled out “♡휘브” (WHIB), prompting the seven members to praise Thai AnD fans as very romantic. The concert continued with the energetic performances of ‘Kick it’ and ‘BANG,’ raising the excitement to infinity for everyone in the hall.
WHIB did not only bring happiness to their fans but also received love in return through a VCR Fan Project. This video recounted the seven members’ artistic journey and featured messages fans wanted to convey, displayed on a banner reading “WHIB와 AnD가 함께 쓰는 chapter는 영원히 끝나지 않을 거야” (meaning: The chapter that WHIB and AnD write together will never end). Deeply moved, the members struggled to hold back tears and immediately expressed their gratitude.
“Today was our first fan concert in Thailand. Everyone put a lot of effort into preparing various things. We were very impressed by your enthusiastic support and cheers. These moments will remain in our memories for a long time. Thank you for giving us wonderful memories every time we come here because AnD always brings us happiness, and we will continue to bring happiness to you as well. We love you,” they said in Thai. The concert closed with the song ‘Still typing..’ as all seven members came down from the stage to meet fans closely, allowing Thai AnD to take home every joyful moment, with a promise to return again in the future.
