Not wanting to keep fans guessing and cheering too much, this time Ingfa Waraha the popular beauty queen went live to answer questions about her fans cheering for and wanting her to work with high-end brands. Ingfa spoke on this topic, saying
The most recent topic I've seen is that some fans understand who I really am, while some want me to get high-end brands, to work with international brands, whatever the product may be. I want to tell everyone honestly that throughout the four years I've worked, I haven't really tried or strived that hard because I understand and know well what suits me.
Personally, I feel that whether someone is an artist, actor, or singer, landing a high-end brand is a good thing because it is global exposure. But for me, I'm really a simple person—literally from a rural home, you could say. I am not fixated on fashion nor knowledgeable about collections or shows.
However, I have succeeded and gotten this far because I love singing, dancing, acting, and the idols I admire don’t necessarily carry such brands. Some don’t carry them at all, some do but aren’t ambassadors or anything official. Of course, I’d be happy to have them, but I feel a bit shy because my nature doesn’t quite fit. So I will follow my own path.
Whether I get those jobs or not, I don’t stress about it. There was a time I almost got a perfume brand, but I was tied up with a presenter role. It depends on luck and timing, but I’m not worried. I prefer taking presenter roles because I’m frugal. If I had to choose between image and money, I’d take the money first. Once my finances are stable, then we’ll see.
People who carry high-end brands don’t live normal lives like most people. They must be careful about their image and many other things. You need to know the brand’s collections, travel a lot, and spend considerable time preparing. Those passionate about fashion manage this well, but for me, it would be difficult because of time and personality. I’m quite open about everything. I don’t speak very politely; sometimes I use casual or even rough language on camera, sometimes I drink. I’m turning 31 this year.
