Kratae Reveals Why She Didnt Perform Hit Songs at Concert: Tried to Buy Rights but Former Label Refused

After the spicy female singer Kratae Boonyaleang or KT Kratae also known to many as Kratae Rsiam who ended her contract with Rsiam some time ago, she has been continuously booked for concerts. However, many fans have wanted her to sing her famous hit songs.

Recently, Kratae posted a clip from an event where fans requested her to sing popular old songs from her former label such as “Teud,” “Open Jai Sao Tae,” “Jang Mun Tae,” and others. Kratae tried to sing only short parts, less than seven words, but fans sang along with full verses. She then stopped and said she really wanted to sing them but hadn’t secured the rights, so the live broadcast would be cut. Since these songs belong to her old label, she can’t perform them.

Kratae captioned the clip: "Many ask why I don’t buy the rights!? I already asked to buy them, but they won’t sell. Sad... (*If the event charges admission or is live-streamed, I can’t sing them.)"

This prompted Golf Pichaya to joke, "Be careful, they might count the words, haha." Kratae replied, "The first song went over by just one word." Fans commented, expressing regret and nostalgia, saying things like, "Such a pity, these are legendary songs," "You already sang 8 words in the first two songs," "Miss the songs Kratae used to sing," "It’s a shame, who else can sing Kratae’s old songs better?" and more.
