There was a time when Kaembum Preeyada opened a dog cafe and was accused by some of mistreating the dogs and animal cruelty, which led her to take legal action against those who posted such claims immediately.
Recently, Kaembum updated that those dogs she once cared for are still doing well, though not all are alive as some have aged and passed away. She continues to care for all of them diligently, never abandoning any, and shared the monthly expenses she has paid over the past 10 years.
“Does anyone remember when the dog cafe first opened? The dogs are still well. Maybe not all of them, and perhaps not as adorable as before because they are aging and some are starting to have breed-specific illnesses, but I have never abandoned any. I continue to care for every single one.”
“The new home for the dogs is now finished, so they can comfortably walk and enjoy the breeze. The old house is already 4 years old, and next year I plan to renovate it more. I just need to earn some money first, kids.”
“Someone once told me I was exploiting animals, judged me, insulted me, and hung a sign accusing me of animal cruelty. In the end, they lost their own case… They sued but then had no money to pay, posting an apology that barely reached a hundred views, while the insults I received were shared thousands of times. I will say that I ran the cafe until I stopped, never making a single baht of profit.”
