This revelation surprised netizens who followed her, as PP is the great-grandchild of Khun Chaweng Wararak; she carries both her maternal and paternal surnames, Khumphrom and Rodsawasdi.
Regarding Khun Chaweng Wararak, whose original name was "Chey," he is a significant historical figure of Koh Samui, Surat Thani Province. He was granted the noble title "Khun Chaweng Wararak" and was the first governor of Koh Samui. He was assigned by the governor of Chumphon to oversee Koh Samui in the early Rattanakosin period. He established Wat Samuttharam (Wat Klang) and laid the administrative foundation of the island, earning the respect and love of the Samui people.
Today, his name remains in Chaweng Beach, one of the most famous tourist destinations on Koh Samui, and his descendants operate a business called Khun Chaweng Resort as a tribute to him.
