He revealed that during the recent New Year period, his noodle shop sold very well. This may be because people did not travel out of town, and chicken noodles might have been a convenient option as they are easy to eat anytime from morning to evening, leading many customers to visit the shop.
Regarding food booths, we have taken the shop to participate already, and many have contacted us. We considered what menu to bring. If it’s noodles, we worry about not keeping up with demand and lack of seating. Some venues also prohibit gas stoves and require electric ones, which are slower. So, we switched to selling chicken feet dishes instead, focusing purely on feet—such as spicy chicken feet salad and super soup style—which continue to sell well as customers still appreciate the flavor.
Being a vendor in today’s economy, if our shop has a name and customers enjoy the taste, managing it won’t be difficult. But starting out is a bit tough. Don’t get discouraged if you’ve only been open a month or two and think you’re losing money. Keep fighting and build your brand until it’s recognized. As long as you have regular customers, your shop has passed the test. So, we must prove ourselves.
As for his work, Jeab said he is still involved with the sitcom "Pen Tor," which may develop into a vertical format. He also has new projects coming and invites people to stay tuned.
Regarding health, Jeab said that as he gets older—now 52 years old—he must take care of his health and get plenty of rest. Usually, he rests very little, as he has been working irregular hours and running the shop, which limits his rest.
