On National Children's Day 2026, the renowned volunteer artist Bin Bunluerit traveled to Sa Kaeo Province to deliver 600 bicycles to children at four schools in Watthana Nakhon District: Nong Ruea, Nong Nam Sai, Sub Nok Kaew Wittaya, and Noen Sa-at schools.
We originally wanted to visit Nong Jan, where the children have faced hardships in recent months, but access is still restricted. Due to ongoing issues in Sa Kaeo Province, we chose nearby Watthana Nakhon District, about 27 kilometers from the border. Schools here had to close temporarily out of fear of border clashes and only reopened around January 5. We want to give these children the chance to own their bicycles, as during school they could borrow bicycles but had to return them after finishing.
Today, we announced that every child at these four schools in Watthana Nakhon will have their own bicycle—about 600 in total. They will also receive plenty of snacks and 200 baht each. I thank all the adults and fellow artists who supported this effort.
Next year, if the situation calms, we plan to visit Nong Ya Kaeo and Nong Jan to check on the children there and deliver gifts to every one of them. Ultimately, we want the children to be happy.
