Chompoo Araya Shares Her New Year Snow Adventure in France Nong Gle Reveals How Many Gray Banknotes She Has

After the actress Abigail or Nong Gle, the youngest daughter of superstar actress Chompoo Araya A. Hargate, flew to France with her family for a holiday and just returned to Thailand on 9 January. She immediately attended a Children's Day event with her mother, showing just how busy and in-demand she is.

Both attended “The Iconic Children’s Playground 2026: Funtastic Playland” at Iconsiam. Reporters caught up with Chompoo and Nong Gle to get an update on their France trip and asked if Nong Gle knew about Children's Day. She said, “I know,” but when asked what Children's Day is, she humorously replied, “Children worship day,” drawing laughter from everyone.

When asked about the France trip, people joked that it was a CEO’s vacation—seems very happy?

“Actually, everyone was happy. The little boy was happy because he loves skiing and cold weather. Mom was happy, dad was happy. When we travel as a family, we usually stay for quite a while because the timing can be tricky with so many people. We take it slow, no strict plans. We just wake up and take each day as it comes.”

Someone joked that Nong Gle took the family on the trip as a kind of reward?

“(laughs) Yes, something like that.”

How much fun did the kids have with the snow?

“They had fun. The little boy loves skiing and was excited to see snow. But he’s seen more snow before, like in Niseko where the snow is deeper right outside the door. Here, you have to drive up the mountain a bit to find a lot of snow. That was a bit different, but it was okay.

We tried to find activities for him each day. We stayed 10 days, leaving on 28 December and returning to Thailand on the morning of 9 January. We traveled slowly, not rushing, resting in different towns. After flying in, we had to drive up the mountain, so we took it easy since mountain bus travel can be risky. We stopped often and didn’t rush the driver.”

Did the kids understand and adapt? Was the weather a factor?

“They understood the weather, but if arrival was delayed, they’d ask how many more hours in the car.”

Did dad have a heavy role carrying or holding the kids?

“Not too much.”

This trip also generated many memes and shared photos online, including from dad Not’s own posts?

“Since there was a helper along, someone else took photos. Without help, mom wouldn’t have much content or time to take pictures.”

It seems Nong Gle is more aware and understanding this year?

“Yes, she is. I believe many families are like this: when the younger sibling grows up with older brothers, they develop faster. When raising the first child without siblings, the drive to grow and match the older sibling isn’t there. Nong Gle has two older brothers, so there’s a bit of that.”

At this event, Nong Gle was the hardest worker, reviewing everything. How so?

“I was surprised. Auntie Jeab took everything along but Nong Gle was a bit upset she forgot some things — didn’t bring everything completely.”

But as the brand ambassador, she worked fully and professionally?

“Yes, she gave her all, working every day on the balcony.”

Does she just naturally know what to do?

“She might complain a little, but Auntie Jeab insists on loving everyone, including every customer.”

Are customers still able to visit continuously?

“Yes, they can keep coming (laughs). It can continue.”

Recently a viral clip showed our CEO already has her own gray banknotes after working all year?

“Yes.”

How is Nong Gle’s gray banknote?

Nong Gle: “It can buy a lot of things.”

How many does she have?

Nong Gle: “One.”

How many green banknotes?

Chompoo: “A whole stack.”

Where is the gray banknote kept?

Chompoo: “The gray one is kept in the child’s safe.”

What color banknote does she want next?

Nong Gle: “I want another gray one.”

Earlier she said she was saving to buy a gift for her mother. Has she saved enough?

Nong Gle: “Not yet.”
