Ning Panita Tears Up at Daughter Nirins Answer About Her Father: Now Were Happy, Whatever Happens Is Irrelevant

From the answer of Nirin about why she likes singing and dancing, it is because it helps her overcome the pain related to her father. This moved her mother, Ning Panita, to tears, as she never expected her daughter to say something like that. Ning said,

"My daughter has grown up so fast. I feel grateful to myself for, over the past two years, letting go of many things and focusing everything on her—abandoning many things that I felt were unhelpful and unnecessary to life, and dedicating everything to her. Today I feel happy, with a smile. The energy, brightness, and strength of the original Panirin girl have returned."

How did you feel when Nirin talked about her father, especially since she brought it up on her own?

"Hearing that made me tear up. I feel my daughter is so strong (voice trembling). She has moved on, and she found the point to move on from. I have been trying to teach her. While raising her, many adults have given me great advice—one of them for the past five years is Pi Tu Nanthida. I once asked her, 'You raise your child so well. How do you help my daughter have a strong and resilient attitude and live happily?'"

Pi Tu always advises me whenever we meet to raise children grounded in reality and to use the heart with gentleness when caring for them.

That question earlier made me wonder how she would answer, but she spoke up on her own. I am glad because since the first day she started acting and fully entered the entertainment industry, I have worried a lot. It's a tough fight with social media everywhere. We have to be very careful about everything. I never wanted my daughter to be a target or focus of attention.

But when she said that singing and dancing make her happy and she likes it and has moved on, I said, ‘Go for it, my child.’ I try to support her fully. I really feel my daughter has grown up now."

Regarding social media use, we can't deny that she uses it. Friends and seniors around her also use social media. When she encounters something she doesn't understand, she asks me. I tell her to use it less. If something causes distress or irritates her energy, she must quickly let go and focus on doing what she does best, which she can do a lot of.

Seeing her answers today and what she does on stage, I think she is very smart. I am thankful she is my daughter and grateful that we embrace and understand each other and move forward together because she is the energy that makes me smile and change myself.

Anyone who says I look lighter, softer, happier, and brighter—I must say it’s all thanks to my daughter. My life is devoted to her. Whatever brings happiness, I am ready to do because she is a blank canvas who I feel shouldn’t have to suffer pain over anything. Whatever I can step back from or sacrifice, I’m willing to do for her."

How do you feel about the news from that side about the new boyfriend?

"I really ask for permission to say that today my daughter and I are very happy. I won't talk about anyone else. No matter what happens, today my daughter and I are happiest. I sincerely apologize but prefer not to answer (hands in a wai gesture). Today, I am strong, my daughter is strong and happy. It’s over. Whatever happens to others is no longer related to us."
