They are an adventurous couple admired by many for their charm. Champion Chanathip and Sammy Kowawell Now, Sammy has adapted to become adventurous, enduring hardships like hiking, trekking through forests, and crossing streams, impressing many with her resilience—she is both beautiful and skilled, able to adjust to any situation.
Recently, we met Champion at an event with actors from the drama "Yiwa Da Tang" at Channel 3 Malin, where he shared in an interview,
"This year, there might be some more relaxed trips to see. Although in the past two years, Sammy sometimes complained, she has joined me on every trekking trip. Our relationship is very good now. Many people see us as being from different worlds: I'm adventurous, and Sammy is fashion-oriented. We try to meet in the middle. Since I like adventure and hardship, we've toned it down from a level 10 to a 5 to find common ground."
"Not all our trips are tough. We also have comfortable trips. For example, if we travel for seven days, maybe 2-3 days are challenging, and the rest we stay in comfortable hotels or villas, sharing the hardships."
"I often ask Sammy why she likes trekking because lately she’s been the one choosing the places. Given her adventurous nature, minimal makeup, quick dressing and bathing, this kind of travel is easy for her to adapt to."
"Recently, clients have started supporting our products. Traveling brings income, so it feels enjoyable and fulfilling to live this lifestyle and earn from it. Soon, we plan to start a YouTube channel together. We've begun filming and are editing. The concept will focus on nature travel, possibly road trips or trekking, showing the natural scenery and our genuine sides."
Champion added that if Sammy feels tired or begins to complain, he stays calm and listens without arguing or reacting, sometimes just ignoring it, because he doesn't like to fuel conflicts.
When asked if he would propose marriage in a forest, Champion said, "My friends have asked me the same. But I think if one day I propose, it should be in a beautiful natural place that feels very special to us."
When asked to choose between a beautiful natural setting or Sammy’s beauty, Champion replied, "Then let me ask back, do I even have the right to choose?" He feels that on an important day, he wants her to look beautiful because it is a special day for her.
