He is considered another handsome man with a golden physique in the industry. Chai Chatayodom Hiranyatithi. He recently got fit and achieved his own golden physique. At the launch event of the drama “Yiwada Tang” on the 10th floor of Maleenont Building, Channel 3, Rama 4 Road, we asked about how he became the golden physique. At this event, Por Natthawut also came to consult about fitness.
Por, consulting about the golden physique?
"Por has been asking since last year, since I started taking care of myself and making changes. I kept meeting him, and he kept asking if it was difficult. I told him that if I can do it, others can too. It requires determination and starting to take action."
How long did it take?
"At first, it took 3-4 months of real change. You have to be fully committed to diet, exercise, everything. But it's not as hard as people think. People fear exhaustion or difficulty, but once you see results, you get more motivated and want to continue. Setting a goal and achieving it becomes a life goal."
Is it hard to maintain?
"Maintaining is harder. It's about changing your lifestyle. If you don't, you'll revert to where you started. My determination is to love my health. I have clear goals: to be able to play with my children and be happy with my family. I set long-term goals and work on them."
Will you maintain this golden physique for a long time?
"I probably won't push as hard as before. Now, I seek balance, live normally, do what I want, eat what I want, but without abandoning what I have built. It has truly changed my quality of life. As Por asked, I feel I can inspire others. If I can do this, it's not hard to walk with others. Now it's like a family activity. We exercise together 3-5 days a week. It's a good activity for the family to spend real time together."
What sparked the start?
"It came from my own health. Just now, I heard about arms and legs, which really happened. In the past two years, my left arm went numb. Something was wrong. It made me afraid. Many people experience this if it doesn't happen to you, or the moment that makes you realize you must change. Some wait until it happens then fix it. Luckily, it was fixed in time. The numbness lasted a week. I had to see a doctor to find out what was wrong. The doctor said it was time to love my health again, even though I exercised and controlled my diet. But with age, what I did might not be enough."
Does the problem still occur?
"Now I'm very happy with my health. After tasting freshness, vitality, and strength returning, it’s very different from when I was very unwell. I got to do what I want again. Back then, I felt I might not be able to act anymore. On set, many think acting is easy, but it can be tough. I told Wicky I didn't know how long I could keep sitting like that. It was discouraging. Acting is what I love and have done all my life. At some point, I accepted I couldn’t do it. It would have gotten much worse if left untreated."
Does Wicky (Sunisa Jett) get jealous?
"Not at all. No jealousy or possessiveness. She likes to tease me a bit and wonders if she can be possessive. She is proud of what I do. At least I see that she has started to take care of her health too. It’s a family activity—not just Mick and me, Wicky joins too. Now only Benz is left; we're still discussing it."
Wicky recently appeared on a show praising you for not letting her change. Is it a complete family?
"She is a lovely person who supports me physically and mentally. She supports everything, even when I was at my worst. Before, I let myself go and enjoyed eating a lot. She said, ‘Oh, that’s your happiness’ and didn’t hold me back. Wicky doesn’t believe in love or family institutions because her family was once broken. But we’ve learned together, giving warmth and showing that family is strong and can stand if we support and communicate."
When your wife talks to others, does she always praise you?
"It boosts me. My family always supports each other. Wicky's father is always there for us, through good and bad. We support each other. At least I have a safe zone. If I fall, there are people to support me."
