Improving himself to become a better person for DJ PK Piyawat Khemphat this will be the year he makes a strong comeback and finds happiness after previously hitting rock bottom, nearly losing everyone except his mother, Mee Rian, his girlfriend, and his older brother, P'Noom, who stayed by his side.
Recently, DJ PK opened up in an interview with Thairath TV, admitting that during his lowest point, he contemplated ending his life. From someone who once had everything, he was left with nothing but his mother, Mee Rian, Mee Rian's daughter, and his brother, who stood by him and pulled him through until he finally overcame that period. This year, he has many plans and aims to come back stronger and become the best version of himself.
PK said that this year's work plans start with A-Time Media, where he continues hosting the daily Wednesday show 'Chaekhao Chao First Class' as his main job. After January 16, 2026, he will launch a new program called 'Chart Jai Station,' which will interview people who helped heal him last year and aims to help viewers go through their struggles as he did. He is very committed to this show.
When asked about the hardest thing for him, he replied that it was forgiving himself. He explained that he had always soared high, but when he fell hard to the ground, he felt lost. While he forgave everyone else, he couldn't forgive himself. He hated himself and disliked what he had done. The constant negative comments over the past two years were unbearable.
He said he once wondered whether to fall asleep and never wake up or to find answers to improve his life. He was fortunate to meet Mee Rian, who continuously supported him, along with many others who tried to pull him out of that dark place, and eventually, he did.
PK also admitted that he once thought about not waking up again after losing everything—from having everything, working, earning money, and buying food to one day having nothing left. He learned to sit quietly, watch the sky, the weather, and TV until one day he felt that if he didn’t stop there, he had to move forward and find something better for his life. So, he chose to continue.
When asked how severe his loss was, PK said he lost almost everything. TV jobs were canceled, event jobs were canceled. He survived thanks to those close to him, whose names he tattooed on his arm because he knew they were with him when he had no one else. Those who left didn’t care at all. It was all a life lesson, and he feels very okay now.
He reflected that perhaps this is life’s truth: after flying high, when problems arise, about 80% of friends disappear. He isn’t angry with them but understands the world and recognizes his own mistakes. What he experienced was very harsh, and he doesn’t wish it on anyone else.
PK continued that during this time, all TV and event work was canceled, but A-Time did not cancel him because he has been with them for 26 years, and they never abandoned him.
He thanked his mother, Mee Rian, and his siblings who stood by him. After overcoming these struggles, he became a much stronger version of himself. In the past, negative comments would deeply hurt him, but now he simply blocks those who write badly and doesn’t pay attention. He said, "If you don’t like what I do, tell me and I’ll fix it; if you like it, thank you."
He revealed that this year work has started coming back in full force, like a new life. He thanked his mother, Mee Rian, Mee Rian’s daughter, those around him, and A-Time for their continued support. He feels that his talent surpasses personal life, which he has long moved past and left behind.
Regarding his current love life, he admitted they still have disagreements and misunderstandings, but he sees this as a positive because it helps them understand each other better. Previously, with past girlfriends, they never argued, and he would always give in. But when things didn’t go his way, he would explode. Now, with this partner, they argue often, and through these arguments, they come to understand each other. He believes this way they can last longer. Before, he always fulfilled the other’s wishes, but when things couldn’t be achieved, everything broke down.
When asked if he would stop with Mee Rian and settle down, PK said he’s not sure but currently feels relaxed. He might notice others are attractive, but that’s all. He’s done with looking further because he’s tired. Just knowing that when he returns home, Mee Rian and her daughter are there, and her daughter runs to hug him—this is the new answer in his life he never had before.
He reflected that everyone who has come into his life has been good to him, but he hopes this love lasts as long as possible and that they care for each other for a long time. Mee Rian is very talented—a great businesswoman who helps with projects while raising her daughter. He is amazed by how she manages both. He said if he hadn’t gone through the difficult times, he wouldn’t have met her today. Now that he has found her, he will try to keep her with him as long as possible.
