Get ready! One of the year's biggest events bringing together numerous stars and artists, “Bansomdej Festival 2,” will be held from 17–19 January 2026 to unite Thais in paying tribute to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother on the anniversary of the passing of Somdet Chao Phraya Borom Maha Sri Suriyawongse (Chuang Bunnag) at Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University. This event offers more than just concerts; it features a full range of activities blending academics, music, sports, arts, entertainment, innovation, and special activities for fans to enjoy throughout the three-day event.
A major highlight is the gathering of Thailand’s top superstars led by Great Warintorn, Mike Pattaradet, along with '90s idols Dang Phankorn, Dome Pakorn Lam, Peter Corp Dyrendal, dance icon Katreeya English, and many other popular artists including FELLOW FELLOW, SERIOUS BACON, Keng Tachaya, Giftza Girly Berry, and Pui Duangporn. The event will be hosted by two emcees, Associate Professor Dr. Thanaphat Asawasemachai and Punyavee Jangjaroen, with many surprise artists also making appearances.
Beyond the concerts, the event is packed with spectacular shows including grand Khon performances, singing and baton-twirling tributes, Thai and international music performances, fashion shows showcasing crafts to creative industries, and a food zone called "Street Food Mother of the Land Kitchen," featuring royal recipes and renowned community dishes for visitors to savor.
There will also be a tribute ceremony for Her Majesty the Queen Mother, a wreath-laying event marking the anniversary of Chuang Bunnag’s passing, the 2nd Bansomdejchaopraya National and International Academic Conference (BS2C 2026), and the BSRU Open House zone, which invites the public to fully participate in all activities. Admission to this event is free of charge.
Another unmissable highlight is the royal tribute football match between celebrity teams STAR RIDER FC and BANSOMDEJ FC, scheduled for Monday, 19 January 2026, at Bansomdej Stadium. The match will feature actors and famous athletes such as Leesaw Theerathep, Somjit Jongjohor, Golf Anuwat, Jab Penphet, Gig Danai, King Kornbai, and beloved stars showing off their skills up close on the field.
The exciting three-day schedule: On 17 January, the opening day features Gift C You (Giftza Girly Berry), Weedbomb, and SERIOUS BACON, along with singing and baton-twirling tribute performances. On 18 January, the fun continues with Katreeya English, Peter Corp Dyrendal, and a spectacular Khon show. On 19 January, the grand finale includes the celebrity football match led by Great Warintorn and Mike Pattaradet, followed by a fashion show led by Keng Tachaya and Pui Duangporn, and concerts from Dang Phankorn, Dome Pakorn Lam, and FELLOW FELLOW.
