No one ever knew what it took to reach today. DJ Dao or Dao Oke had to shed many tears over the incident when Kangsom The Star’s mother disapproved. Recently, Dao, the mother, and Kangsom made a video sharing their memories of those earlier days.
Kangsom’s mother said, “When I first met Dao, I never imagined we'd be where we are now. At first, when I got to know Kangsom, I had a bit of an anti-feeling towards Dao. Sometimes my reactions were strong. But I noticed Dao never frowned or acted upset with me; she always smiled.”
DJ Dao said, “But when I went home, I cried all the time.”
Kangsom added, “Sometimes, yes.”
DJ Dao continued, “At first, when I met her, she didn’t accept me. Looking back 7-8 years ago, I had nothing—no achievements to compare with. I had never succeeded at anything, so I used that as motivation to prove myself.”
Kangsom’s mother said, “Actually, I never cared about anyone’s status or wealth. I believe anyone can build themselves up. I always told Kangsom not to seek out rich people, but to associate with hardworking people; success will come naturally. But my initial dislike for Dao came from feeling she was a bit inconsistent and not my type.”
She added, “But secretly, I noticed that despite how she acted, she never frowned or showed displeasure. Some people told me Dao smiled when she looked at me. Dao’s youngest brother, Jeen, would say that Dao and Kangsom were upset. I told Kangsom not to worry about his child; I never opposed any of his relationships and always encouraged him to work hard.”
Kangsom said, “Dao is really hardworking. She is much richer than I am now.”
DJ Dao said, “Don’t worry, mom. I will take good care of your son.”
Kangsom said, “This is like winning the lottery.”
Kangsom’s mother said, “Actually, I like lively boys, but nowadays girls are lovely too. The eldest must be a daughter (implying more than one child), probably two.”
She added, “It’s heartwarming. I never thought we’d reach this day. I hope for two grandchildren.”
She concluded, “From the time these two loved each other, helped and supported one another, and worked together, it’s truly heartwarming. I wish for everything they hope for to prosper, for them to have plenty of money, be a warm family, and have many children for me to see. I never imagined this day, but now it feels wonderful.”
