A heated drama erupted online after tense moments were captured between Not Wararit and Phet Karunphon following the "Chae" program, where a fiery debate about constitutional amendments led to one pushing the other, raising questions whether their off-screen disagreement was serious.
The Facebook page "Than Pao" posted, “The atmosphere after the debate… or do you want Phet? I told him not to amend the constitution, then a push happened. It almost turned into a fight, but others intervened and separated them.”
Recently, Moddam Kotchapha addressed the issue on the "Khao Sai Kai" show on Thairath TV saying
Moddam said, “They are friends from before, but their views don’t align, that’s it.”
Angie asked, “But didn’t they fight on the show?”
Moddam replied, “The show had ended. They didn’t fight during it. They’ve been close friends since childhood. Sometimes, they just argue about the constitutional amendments because their political views differ. They debated back and forth, and it got heated.”
Pee Uay added, “There was a first incident before, but this time it really got serious.”
Moddam continued, “Yes, this time it escalated. They were discussing whether Articles 1 and 2 should remain untouched. Not asked, but by the end of the show, Not said, ‘You’re stubborn, why not say Articles 1 and 2 shouldn’t be touched?’ Phet said that couldn’t be said because he represents a party line, and it’s all party consensus. So they argued more intensely. I told them to separate and go home.”
Angie asked, “Do they still talk?”
Moddam said, “They are close friends. I even argue with Not every day.”
Pee Uay asked, “Was there news they actually fought last night?”
Moddam replied, “No actual fighting, just some pushing. My assistant intervened first.”
Pee Uay asked, “Who pushed whom first, did you see?”
Moddam said, “No, I was eating noodles and receiving guests at the time.”
Moddam confirmed it was just a momentary emotional reaction due to differing opinions, not personal animosity, and Not and Phet remain close friends.
