Yesterday (21 Jan 2026), hundreds of comedians across Thailand, both young and veteran, gathered to hold the concert "Manly Man Named Deh Dok Sadao" to raise money for medical expenses. “Uncle Deh Dok Sadao” organized by Ped Chernyim the main organizer of the concert, shared that today's event was not meant to elicit pity or sympathy but was held to honor their mentor. All comedians already know that Uncle Deh is like a teacher to them.
Deh Dok Sadao’s other daughter, Peul Napath revealed that Deh is currently being treated at a center and is showing progress. He is doing physical therapy, practicing standing, and can write now. Although he cannot speak, he communicates physically. There is hope for recovery. She takes care of him both morning and evening, and he is happy.
Meanwhile, Poo Kanokwan, Deh Dok Sadao’s wife, who reportedly did not attend the "Manly Man Named Deh Dok Sadao" concert, recently posted on her personal Facebook:
“...If this hadn’t happened, I wouldn’t have known how much people love us. Thank you to everyone who talked to me and helped pull me out. I am now ready to accept reality. This is where our fate ends... Today, I’m applying for a visa because I want to visit my child. My child is my whole world.”
