Summary: Lawyer Kaew Asks Jazz Chuan Chuens Wife to Help Mediate with Opponents Father Before Drama Escalates

After Lawyer Kaew Dr. Monchai Jongkairattanakul became embroiled in a scandal involving the sexual harassment of an 18-year-old intern who is the daughter of a tailor shop owner, with negotiations underway for a multi-million baht settlement to protect reputations, and the name of Jang Punnasa Promyos the wife of Jazz Chuan Chuen, who rents a shop space at Siam Square alongside the student's father, was brought in to help mediate communication between the two parties.

However, the situation escalated into public news, prompting Lawyer Kaew to issue a statement, while Jang declared she would no longer involve herself in the matter and expressed surprise to learn she was not the first person contacted. She also expressed regret at being used as a pawn in the situation. Thairath Entertainment summarizes the key points as follows:

- Lawyer Kaew held a press conference stating he tried to contact the student's father but was unable to reach him, so he decided to contact Jang, the wife of Jazz Chuan Chuen, because she shares a rental property with the student's father at Siam Square. Lawyer Kaew called her before the New Year.

- Lawyer Kaew asked Jang to assist him, but she said she did not want to get involved and advised him to speak directly with the student's father. Lawyer Kaew said he had already tried but could not reach him, so Jang called the father and spoke with him for some time. Jang told Lawyer Kaew that the father said if there is not 10 million baht, there is no need to talk, which Lawyer Kaew relayed as having been said through Jang.

- Jang called Lawyer Kaew to inform him, and he said he did not have that amount of money. He then asked if he could settle the matter with 1 million baht to close the case. Jang called the student's father again to say that Lawyer Kaew could manage only that amount, but the father responded that without 5 or 10 million baht, there was no need to negotiate. Lawyer Kaew then explained that the father requested 5 million baht, but he could only afford 2.5 million and was willing to pay that to end the dispute.

After Lawyer Kaew's interview, Jang Punnasa shared her perspective with Thairath Entertainment as follows:

- Both Lawyer Kaew and the student's father contacted Jang; the father called on 29 December 2025, and Lawyer Kaew on 30 December 2025.

- Jang's involvement ended on 30 December 2025. She said the student's father had legal counsel and more reliable representatives, so she advised both sides to arrange their own meeting as she had to travel abroad and would no longer have time to engage. When first talking to the father, she asked whether a formal complaint had been filed.

- The situation caused Jang considerable sadness as it affected many parties. From the start, she did not want to get involved because she has children and understands the feelings involved. She does not know who is right or wrong since both sides have conflicting accounts and believes they should negotiate directly. Lawyer Kaew called her to help coordinate communication, and she only performed that role without any ill intent toward either party.

- This experience taught Jang not to answer unknown calls. She insists she only wished goodwill and hoped both parties would communicate. She was surprised to learn she was not the first person they contacted and feels regret at being used as a pawn. She is not overly stressed; the truth is the truth, and her involvement ended on 30 December 2025.

Additionally, on her Facebook, Jang posted an inquiry about rental space at Siam Square, saying, “Hello, does anyone have rental space available at Siam? I want to move my shop.” Currently, Jang and the student's father jointly rent space there.

She also explained the case involving Lawyer Kaew: “Currently, I am a mutual acquaintance of both parties. One is a lawyer I know, and the other rents space where I have a clothing store. Normally, we don’t talk much, but he came to me for advice about this incident, saying he didn’t know whom else to consult, knowing I know the opposing party. I simply talked with both sides to facilitate communication between them.”

- Later, as the two parties failed to reach an agreement, the shop owner who rents space from Jang posted repeatedly on social media. After Jang spoke with both sides, she told them to settle matters themselves, noting she has no legal expertise.

- What hurt her feelings was that they knew each other, and when one party sought her help in distress, she saw them as friends and helped coordinate talks. Yet, she was used by the media as a source claiming she advised one side or the other, which she finds abnormal and questions the purpose behind it.

- Regarding the demands for damages or legal action, those matters should be discussed within families and legal counsel. Instead, they involved a public figure and many others. Jang only recently learned they had consulted others before her, so she wasn’t the first as she had been told.

All these events occurred on 29 December and concluded on 30 December 2025, ending Jang’s involvement as of 23 January 2026.”

She later posted a brief message about the matter: “Leave money out of it and let them fight it out in court.”
