Kratip Chavalakorn was born on 11 April 1988. She completed primary education at Waree Chiang Mai School, lower secondary at Hat Yai Witthayalai School, and upper secondary again at Waree Chiang Mai School. She then earned a bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Painting, Sculpture, and Graphic Arts at Silpakorn University.
Kratip entered the entertainment industry by competing in the Miss Thailand Universe pageant in 2008, where she was crowned runner-up. She then began acting in dramas on Channel 7HD, gaining recognition for her role in "Hor Ying" alongside Phai Pathit Phisitkul.
Following that, Kratip played both leading heroine and antagonist roles in many Channel 7HD dramas including Silamanee, Pob Pee Fah, Rak Son Ros, Duay Raeng Athitarn, Ngao Kam Thep, Khun Por Wan Waew, Pin Onok, Mae Pu Priew, Dom Thong, Cinderella Rong Tao Ta, Kulap Rai Khong Nai Tawan, La Rak Sud Khop Fah, Jao Nang, Ban Sila Daeng, and Morasum Sawat. She was especially noted for the role of "Jao Nang Tong Nuang" in the drama "Plerng Pra Nang."
After becoming a freelance actress, Kratip appeared in dramas on GMM 25 such as "Mae Mot Jao Sanay," "Game Rak Ao Khuen," "Nang Mar," and "Nuea Nai."
