Regarding the illness of the famous comedian, Der Dok-Sadao, who is currently being treated for a stroke, and whose daughter Ple Napat—another daughter from Der and his former wife—is caring for him and has promised to do so with full dedication, many have wondered where Poo Kanokwan Buranon has been, because at the concert held to raise funds for Der Dok-Sadao's medical expenses, Poo Kanokwan was noticeably absent.
Afterwards, Poo Kanokwan posted a message saying, “If this hadn’t happened, I wouldn’t have known how much people love me. Thank you to everyone who has talked with me and pulled me through. I’m ready to accept the truth and consider this the end of our fortune... Today, I went to apply for a visa because I want to see my child. My child is my whole world.” This led many to wonder what exactly had happened.
Most recently, Poo Kanokwan posted again to confirm that she wants to speak out about everything that has happened. She said those around her and her colleagues in the industry already know the full story. She truly wants to speak as soon as possible, but due to scheduling and timing constraints, she has not yet been able to. She added that just talking on the phone with P'Aoy made her break down in tears.
“Today I read a message from a journalist who wrote, ‘Poo must come out and speak quickly about this, otherwise people will speculate endlessly.’ I want to say that I have already spoken about this a long time ago. My circle of friends and industry colleagues all know the truth. Your own group knows as well. I want to speak quickly—preferably today or tomorrow—but my program is scheduled to record on 10 February, so I have to wait. Just talking on the phone with P'Aoy made me cry.”
Following Poo Kanokwan’s post, many followers sent her messages of encouragement, saying there is no need to explain to anyone else; just knowing what she has done is enough. They encouraged her to live happily for the rest of her life.
